Default WCIF... Dirty Pond Water? [Solved]
I'm creating an underground area that is supposed to be like a sewer. I'm wondering if there is some type of overlay object, mod, etc. to make pond water appear dirty?

I found this, but it's for the Sims 4.

I saw this as well, but it's for the Sims 2. I guess there is an overlay object with this set.

Is there anything similar to the two things listed above for the Sims 3? If not, any advice how I can make the pond water look like sewer water?

Thanks in advance!

The pool water is clear, but by changing the color of the pool walls and floors, it gives the illusion of green water.

I tried that before with the pools, but I'll give it another whirl. I probably just need to download better wall textures with mold and grime! I'll also search for some dirty-looking terrain paint too.

Thank you for the links and your help !

Sorry the image is kind of dark, but under the paint category there is a texture that matches dirt really well. I just darkened it a bit in Create a Style. Not sure that it looks as dirty as you want, but it does look like the surrounding soil. (from the terrain paint category)

There are some nice grungy patterns here - http://nowa2000.de/category/sims-3-muster/ - (click "older posts" to see more)

After looking around a bit I found a nice sewer that may give you inspiration - I know now I have to build a lot with a sewer

Oh, thank you for taking the time to mess with the terrain paint, you didn’t have to ! That would be a good color. I’ll test out some of the paints in CAS and see if I can add a tinge of green too. I downloaded the Ranz Wall Set and those look good underwater and help make it look scuzzy!

You know what’s funny, I have previously used that sewer picture from Deviant as inspiration for one section I wish you luck on your potential sewer build !

Many thanks!

Ooo, thank you, I can use these in the sewer as well . I had some other puddles downloaded, but I like the way this one looks better!
