Many, but for brevity I'll name one.

One that allows children to ride without stretching - tbh I see kids riding horses more than adults and they're lighter which gives them edge in real-life horse-racing. (Plus Medieval Family)

Sidenote - great to see igazor still around! And all you guys sticking with the Sims 3.

Exactly! I don't really like the mid life crisis reward because it feels almost cheaty and I don't want to change all my traits, just one at a time in a more natural fashion.

Bringing this back up, but I was making something in TSRW, and I realized that all patterns are named (i.e. Granite, Formica, Marble).

It would be so useful if these names appeared in CaST (maybe as a tooltip) since it's sometimes really hard to figure out what material is what.

Cross-posting from the Create forum, but I'd really want to have a 'Have Wedding' option in the City Hall rabbithole. It annoys me in my game that Sims are constantly being engaged but spend the rest of their lives that way and not get married (or even worse, break up and do the vicious cycle again; making new kids along the way). Sure we have same-sex marriage in the game but we don't have a Civil Wedding? How's that?

Just realized how necessary a mod is that stops sims from complaining when they have interactions in their queue.

It takes so much time when I have a hungry sim, and I have them set to eat, but instead of eating and getting it done faster, they just complain and take longer to eat. Most recently I had multiple toddlers who needed to eat at the same time, and both of my adults were so bothered at the same time that once they stopped complaining about one hungry crying toddler. they'd go to the next and just scream about it even though they were queued to feed them. The babysitter was useless too, doing the same thing. I can't believe there's not a mod that prevents complaining when the sim has queued interactions.. I had to reset all the toddlers because no one would feed them aghh.

That's part of the game, though. Not the impossible and unwanted situation you describe with toddlers, but I mean when a sim is already that hungry, tired, bladder-filled, lonely, stressed, etc. then everything becomes less efficient and takes more time (including that which is ultimately meant to relieve the condition) to do. Or at least that's the way I see it. We're not supposed to let our sims or their toddlers get that hungry before taking care of their needs if we don't want to see the complaint animations and suffer the delayed intended actions, they aren't just to inform the player who likely already knows these conditions are there by then.

Of course I don't know of anyone who is 100% effective at taking care of conditions before they happen every time especially when inactive, not player-controlled sims are around.

I suppose, though, maybe the game also didn't intend for a single sim and the butler to take care of six toddlers at a time.. It kept happening every few sim days, so I've made changes and started a new family with only four toddlers at a time, and it's much more manageable-- No more endless loops of complaining about crying instead of feeding the toddlers that need to be fed. Still, if there were a mod like that it might be more possible for there to be such a large amount of toddlers at the same time..

Fix parties. Do not have people crashing and going to bed when the guests come over. How can you have a good party when the host suddenly gets exhausted and has to go to sleep? I guess you could "cheat" and just restore everyone's energy but what is the point of the game if you have to do that.

less of a mod thing and more of a cc thing but; i REALLY want an OMSP that that shifts vertically when you hold alt (the way paintings do) instead of having to manually shift+click a billion times the way we currently have too.

also less of a mod thing and more of an actually impossible thing, but man i really wish we had the ability to resize/place artwork wherever you want on a wall because it's pretty much the only cool thing sims 4 can do.

A mod for merged or combined lots like residential and community togehter, or two different community lot types on the same lot.

And a mod to replace the default cars in Roaring Heights (Firetruck, Taxi, Policecar...) with defaults looking like 1930s one.

The Resizer OMSP by buhudain does work for that, although it is still subject to the need for half a million clicks to get things the right height and size. (Well, not size, unless you need to use more than one resizer to fine-tune the scale. Which I usually do.)

You can combine the registers on the same lot. A pet store (need pet register) and book store register. Or combine rabbit hole rugs - Police and Military, for example. I believe you can put a register on a lot with a rabbit hole but it's probably best to stick with one or the other (I think it has to do with the "opportunities" in the game, it gets it all mixed up?). I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about this.

I've not used this mod as yet but others have - http://www.simlogical.com/ContentUp...e/uploads/1078/ - used to make your residental lot to work like a business. I believe it's used in conjuction with this mod - https://www.nraas.net/community/Shop-From-Inventory

It can be used like that, but it's also used to have sims paying to hang out in a gym, art gallery, "theater," etc. until they either get tired or run out of spendable cash. (or until they are sent home when the business closes.)

Arsil was able to do that to the massage table here (http://modthesims.info/d/559245/pro...sage-table.html)- I wonder if any of the code could be carried over to the other objects?

Hmm.. I'm not entirely sure what Pet Store does since I don't have the store content for it or the right expansion I think, but you can actually have a library and a beach club on the same lot. Given it is not some sort of "specialty" lot.

That link is not about combining rabbithole rugs with community lot, it is about combining residential lot with community lot, using RH to draw visitors since community lots will not. However, if you simply wish to combine community lots, that is already possible in the game to a varying degree.

Community lots simply specify a few things - opening/closing hours, trait attractors, and activity attractors. For example, a library lot is 24 hrs, attracts bookworms and nerds, and sims on the lot will favor reading books and using computers.

So if you have a combination of 2 lots say a gym and a library, both 24 hrs. If you set it as a library, it attracts bookworms and nerds more, and they'll read more. Some may still use the gym. If you set it as a gym, then it attracts jocks and athletics more, and the strong attractor are gym equipments. However, if you set it as "visitors only" or "hangout" then it will attract "random" sims and then sims will do whatever they want to do base on their traits, bookworms will use the library and read while athletes will use the gym to work out.

The only real problem is when you have a bar or a club that has a specific open hour while another function which is 24 hrs. In those cases, lot type of 24 hrs is recommended and the bar hours will be based on the active bar item (12pm-4am) and/or the bouncer at the door. Even though during off hours the club is technically open for business, but most likely people won't go in there since there is nothing to do.

Currently I have a combined hotel + bar + gym. I have a 24-7 hotel staff maintaining the lot, a yoga instructor on a set schedule (generic NPC mod), and the bar opens base on bar time 12pm-4am with other bar staff (generic NPC mod). I think it is currently set to "hang out." For lots that require a open/closing hour, I usually use "rebel hangout" which closes at 1 am. Despite the name, it attracts pretty much anyone, not just "rebels" social trait. I use them mostly for restaurants. You can also use the consort dresscode signs to set the dresscode for the bar if you want it formal.

In another world I have a lot that has nerd store, arcade, consignment store, gym, bar, cafe, and restaurant and set to hangout or visitors allowed. In that lot, I added a spa RH to increase lot visitor. It works pretty well. Sims come, they'll order food/drink from the bar, play pool in the upstairs area, order cafe, use the gym, play arcade, buy food, etc... However, the arcade machines are really strong attractors, so most of them use that since this is a generic lot. I'm thinking of removing the arcade.

Sanity is overrated.

I wish we had a lot trait for non-profit buisnesses. I have a vet clinic that i really don't wanna earn money from, the people that own it are just really passionate about animals and don't wanna make a profit from it.

Yes actually, there's also a mod out there that lets you adjust the different cash register work hours. I have a mall that I created a while back which as all the different register stores such as general reg store, wine reg store, food reg store, etc... and you can get more stuff such as ani's bistro mod for restaurants, the icecream register mod for icecream shop, and I absolutely love the generic NPC role mod so I can fill in any other roles for other stores and shops etc...

So basically just use "hangout" or "visitors allowed" as generic community lot types for multiple functions and if you have university, use the "rebel hangout" if you want the same open hours for the whole lot. And if you need more visitors, put in a rabbithole somewhere.

Yes, I have this mod and I love it. But I know nothing about creating mods or editing mods - I leave that to others that already know how to do that sort of thing. I am tempted, however, to learn how to convert objects because there are SO many items for Sims 2 that I feel need to be converted and haven't been...as yet. I just don't have alot of time or patience to learn it at this point. I just recently learned how to use Create a Pattern (which has been around for almost 10 years).

I think the pet shop register was available only with a limited edition of the Pets expansion. Can be found elsewhere if you know where to look. If I recall - the lot itself was available to download after registering that expansion. I have it in my purchase history and it says "free".

This is another mod I'd like to see created -where you can have an actual pet shop that sells puppies and kittens. As it is now, it only sells the critter type animals that you can find throughout the game.
I think, if you can collect enough of those critters you can set up a shop using the Savvy Sellers stuff - (as seen here http://simplemindedsims.com/2017/02...er%20pet%20shop ) - Not as fun as puppies and kittens.

More akin to CC than mods, but I'd love to see more vintage (pre-1950) and wacky cars. Like an ice cream truck or a 1920s LeMans racer. Just something different than what's currently offered by FP. UI has a good collection of vintage, but still just not enough so everybody in MH can have a different car.
