Janet's having Thornton for a sleepover. I'm being a useful little sister to her. I couldn't easily confiscate his laptop, but I did set the locks so only Janet & I (the household members) can get out of the master suite. That boy clearly needs some "Janet time," he just doesn't always know it.

Walden: Queenie kicked the bucket. Ebony is now an old woman.

Edwards: Still no promotion in sight for Windy. Thought for a second that a romance might be brewing but the guy she tried flirting with had recently gotten married and he shot her down in a heartbeat. Poor Windy. I'm hoping that all the parties she's been going to will eventually produce some excitement. Nothing much new for the Levesques, tho I noticed that Rae has lost quite a bit of weight (she used to be a biiiiiiggg girl) and is managing to keep it off. Good for her!

EDIT: Windy just got the Oh My Ghost! opportunity after her old friend and boss, Caroline, passed away. As soon as I'm finished with her cooking opportunity, I'm gonna start her on that one. Yay, Windy's house won't be empty anymore! lol.

McElroy: For the exception of boring me to death, nothing much happening here. Sonja drowned while fishing. Tanner is still dating Camomilla, he got the "Eternally faithful" moodlet, because she's the only Sim he ever dated, but then when he grew to a YA, his LTW was to Woohoo 5 different Sims in 5 different places. Ezra and his girlfriend have a weird relationship, they fight and flirt, always in that order. He's still a teen, their dad is an elder.

Racket: Anna who lives in Twinbrooks is still working as a private investigator. She's currently pregnant by her husband, who's an elder. She's still has 7 days of young adulthood ahead of her.

I'm curious as to how that happened. Don't you have to be swimming in order to drown??

Walden: Not much going on there. Ebony and Anitra are still living together, but I expect Ebony not to be around much longer.

Edwards: Windy's life is getting a bit more exciting. She lost her job due to poor performance and almost immediately received a wish to get back into journalism. I decided, however, to keep her unemployed for a little while so she could complete some opportunities. Took forever to complete her cooking opportunity but finally did last night and she became a celebrity! Then she crashed a party, where she tried flirting with some old married guy (she really needs to stop doing that), who of course rejected her advances. Oh, and before all this (well, after she lost her job) she reached adulthood and started having a midlife crisis. I didn't entertain her wishes tho and she got thru just fine. lol. Anyway, after the party, she went home and start chatting online with celebrity (and vampire) Matthew Hamming and befriended him, which earned her another star. Afterwards, she got a want to kiss him. I think I might grant her that one. Would be awesome to get her involved with someone more famous than her. And maybe they can get married and have kids! But that's just wishful thinking at this point. Gonna try and get a ghost added to the family today now that the cooking opp is done.
In other news, Rae and Derrick had a baby girl, Elise. Then Derrick passed away. Then Rae had ANOTHER baby, a boy I think, and I'm not sure who the father is. All this while still keeping her weight off. Good for her! lol. Maybe I should've made Rae my active Sim.

Because another program on my computer decided to update and froze my game. FUUUU-

I was building a really nice sim too. Her name was Gabby and I was hopefully going to use her as my legacy founder. That idea was squashed. Back to the drawing board. I have my fingers crossed that I will be able to open the game and find the same randomized sim to work off of. *fingers crossed to the point of bleeding*

Started a new game on my new computer.

Started with a guy, August Caesar, who started in Sunset Valley a la Legacy. After some minor edits to the town, August joined the Film career track. He eventually met Bebe Hart, who was an adult at the time. They eventually married and now have an infant son named Brent, who rolled Evil and Virtuoso Anyway August is now at level 6 or 7 of the acting branch and is a level 4 celeb. Bebe is level 3 of the Political track (her LTW) and is a level 3 celebrity. And they all live in a little rundown shack, despite the 30k that they have yet to spend.

Winchester: Felicity and Damion first had a girl, Gabriella, all Felcitiy's genetics, but I think will end up looking a lot like Damion, face-wise. Then, they had another girl, Gemma, who has Damion's black hair and whatever skin-tone he has... and I have no idea who's eyes she has. But she most definitely looks exactly like Damion, at least in the eye-shape. They've both got very distinctive almond-shaped eyes.

Damion has achieved his LTW... he used to be a vampire and apparently retained his super-fast learning ability even after he was cured. He didn't even finish one large painting before he'd maxed the painting skill lol He quit the Athletic career and is happily making his way through the Education career.
Felicity will forever be on maternity leave I think lol She was still on maternity leave from Gabriella when she got pregnant with Gemma, so she still hasn't been to a single day of work, and they're both kids now.

My sims got robbed, and I was stupid enough to forget to buy an alarm. So 5-6 items have been stolen, I call the police, it takes an hour, and then they fine me for wasting their time >.<

Then, the night after, one of my sims died while trying to fix the computer, which had been broken by a WEDDING GUEST.

Edwards: Yay! Windy has a roomie again! She resurrected her friend Caroline via the science facility. They went to France together and Windy learned how to make crepes. After spending many hours making recipes, she is now a Star Chef and a World Class Chef.
Rae got remarried, to whom I don't know, and her last name is now Bingham. Still living alone with her two young ones tho. And she is now an elder.

I thought it fitted with my story better than saying, she went fishing into the beach where she drowned while swimming in a magically appearing pool with walls around it because she was buggy and had to die.

The Winchesters are on hiatus as I was getting bored with them (but they will be back, I haven't deleted them). Instead, I aged up Gemma (because she's *gorgeous!*), darkened her skintone and gave her Felicity's eye-color (because I can ).

And then I loaded her into a new neighborhood, changed her name to Angelina Johnson (yes, the Angelina Johnson from Harry Potter lol) and started the Johnson legacy.
Angelina is in the Athletic career; her LTW is to be a Renaissance Sim (master 3 skills). She's Athletic, Handy, a Hopeless Romantic, a Natural Cook and Nurturing.So far, she hasn't met anyone with whom to start the legacy because everyone she knows is already in a relationship lol But she's got plenty of time.

EDIT: After a few more days of watching couples come and go and a LOT of babies being born into the neighborhood lol, Miss Johnson has found her beau. She finally caught Xander Clavell between girlfriends (seriously, its only week 2 day 1 and he's already been through half the eligible women in the neighborhood, plus he's got at least 4 kids). They hit it off right away, as they are compatible signs. At this point, they're just romantic interests, because he had to go to work while she was working on him but it shouldn't be too long 'til there are little baby Johnson-Clavells running around Sunset Valley. But, given his track record, I *highly* doubt they will get married. They may never be more than romantic interests.

EDIT 2: Erm... maybe not. I think, even though she's going to be an adult in 7 days, Angelina is going to be looking elsewhere for romance and babies. Its two days later and Xander has already gone through another three girlfriends. I think they're gonna just be friends. Or maybe enemies lol

I decided to give the Sunset Valley characters a good play-through, so I'm currently playing Bella Bachelor, Mortimer Goth, Holly Alto and Xander Clavell. I'll occasionally pop into other Sunset Valley homes too, to make sure people are getting knocked up and continuing the growth of the town etc.

I currently have Mortimer enrolled in Smuggsworth Prep School, even though I still have plans for him to work in the Science career, so it's kind of pointless. He's about to take Bella to the prom, and I'm crossing my fingers that they'll get King and Queen.

I got Xander and Holly married, and they're currently the parents of a baby boy, Adam. Their pairing up was a completely random decision but they ended up being extremely adorable as a couple.

If all fails, there is always France. Take a vacation and chat up the local hot sims and when you get back invite them over one by one. The best part is that you dont even have to kick them out of your house if it doesnt work out Oh and they all know how to talk simlish already!

My new sim legacy family.. She had twins.. The small house that there are living in.. Just became to cramp.. I was only expecting one baby.

I'm trying to stagger child birth, and get it to happen between young couples that are gonna stay couples. Only because I really don't want everyone to be related. Sims A and B are siblings. Sim A and sim C have a child together. Sim C becomes bored with sim A and decides to have a child with Sim D. Sim D shares his parents with sim E who sim B had a child with. This is what is happening in some parts of town. I do have more than 5 sims.

Johnson: Angelina *finally* met a nice guy, Stiles McGraw. Like every other guy (and girl for that matter) in town, he's got kids with other people, but he doesn't switch partners every 3 days like Xander, so, Angelina was happy. They decided not to actually get involved, just to be best friends, but they have a child together. His name is Blaise. After Blaise was born, Stiles met... someone, I can't remember who, and is actually one of the few married couples in town.

Blaise is an easily-impressed, evil genius who's a workaholic. His LTW is to top the Logic skill (easily done) and become Chess Grandmaster. In the meantime, he's working in the Medical career. He met a girl after he graduated, Shanna Osborne. They got married and are on their way to having 5 kids (her LTW... ugh). So far they have Cassandra (child) and Cedric (still an infant).

Meanwhile, Angelina has become an elder, topped the Athletic career easily and achieved her LTW. She's also dating Xander Clavell again :doh: Will she never learn? (she did that part on her own after she moved out... and they're dating despite being life-long enemies...)


Lestrange: In another part of Sunset Valley, Bellatrix Lestrange has begun her reign of insanity. I love playing insane Sims because you never know what's going to happen next. She's brave, evil, insane, mean-spirited, and a snob. She's in the Criminal career, naturally. I decided to take a page from ani_'s book and play out whatever Bellatrix's wants are, instead of what I want to happen to her. So, she may or may not reach the top of her career, but she's definitely going to have fun. And she's definitely got some weird wants.

I know I'm totally resurrecting this thread, but I can't believe it dropped so far down! I recently started playing the Sims 3, and I'd like to share what's happening in my game at the moment :-)

I decided to have a try at a legacy, after a load of aborted attempts at random legacies and 100 babies challenges. And so far it's going well. My sim, Adam Jenkins, got a job in the professional sports career, which enables to work on his LTW of achieving level 9 in that career. After about a week he asked his romantic interest Madeline Moore to move in with him, and she accepted. Madeline works in the science career, and is a keen angler. They started going steady and had a baby daughter, Kayleigh. Not long after that they decided to get married, and after they both became adults Madeline became pregnant again. She has just given birth to twin boys, Marcus and Jonathan, and Kayleigh is a toddler. I'm not sure which of the boys will be the heir, but it definitely won't be Kayleigh as I'm only letting sons be heir (as I started with a male sim). I'm enjoying playing the family so far. Their house is pretty small (two rooms + bathroom) but Adam just got a inheritance lifetime reward so they'll be using that to expand! :-D I'm not sure if that's allowed going by the official legacy rules, but I'm not really following them strictly - I just want to try and play the same family for 10 generations, and have fun!

Worthington: Camomilla and Tanner are still happily married. Tanner went through uni, political science program and is now working in the political branch. I want him to be the mayor of the town. He's currently at level 2. Camomilla is just home, taking care of the garden. The Worthington family owns my town's only bar, grocery shop and diner. Both Tanner and Camomilla are YA, about halfway through their 30 day YA stage. They don't have any kids yet, no accidents or wants. They can live as freely as they want but they will get pregnant regardless of their wants when they become adults. This is a legacy after all, can't go on without some babies.

I would love for them to expand the bar, but they have so much debt I can't. I just hope I can fit the pooltable, jukebox and karaoke machine when SHT comes out. The bar currently has the shuffle board and arcade games, so those have to go to make space for the new items.

Wolf/Racket/Raas:
Anna Racket returned from Twinbrooks after her husband died. She moved into a small house with her son Ian. To make ends meet she decided to become an escort. Her first and only client was Twallan, but she got pregnant with him from the first gig so her escort career ended short, and now she put all her efforts into getting Twallan move in with her. They had an insane son called Janus. After the baby was born, she and her family moved in with her mother, Aminali Wolf. Aminali used to be married to Shamus Drudge, but after he cheated on her, they divorced and she later married DeAndre Wolf. Shamus is currently dead from old ages.

Anna and Twallan had another accident, called K(something). Aminali loved Anna's babies with Twallan but she couldn't stand Ian. They had a lot of slap-fights when he was a teen, and she was constantly screaming at him. He moved out the moment he became a YA, and now lives in an empty lot. I've not played him yet.

DeAndre Wolf died of old age. Anna and Twallan are both elders. Janus is one or two days from becoming a teen, and K(something) just became a kid.

Gwydd:
Socha and Lang had a boy, he's now a YA. Lang just became an elder, and Socha became my first generation 1 Sim to die of old age.

Tellerman:
Komei's husband died of old age ages ago. Komei is now also an elder. His test-tube baby with Jenni Jones-Brown, Emsley, just became a YA and returned from boarding school.
The tellerman household has a live-in housekeeper. Chase Bayless. She makes the meals and cleans. She will stay to live in the house until Komei dies. Then she will move out and became a playable.

Emsley wants to be a director. He started out wanting to see the ghost of a rich spouse. He also wanted to be a scientist so he enrolled in uni. But his LTW didn't make any sense, and didn't suit him, so he got the LTW reward to change it and I randomly re-rolled it, and now he wants to be a director and it suits him so well because his dad is a retired actor. He hasn't dropped out of uni yet, but he will soon.

The next time I play him I'm planning that he will buy the video camera, and start making movies. Then one day, I want him to start a video rental store, making movies, then renting them. And when he becomes a famous director, I'll start having pre-mier partis for his movies, and show them in the theatre. Now all his movies will go straight to DVD.

Jones-Brown:
Demeter, my random legacy heir, started a retirement home. She has five residents. Tobias Binder (random legacy starter), Frances Worthington (Worthington legacy starter), Gape O'Mackey and Philip McElroy (Tanner's dad). Tobias binder died of old age becoming the second Sim to die from generation 1. Before him by a day or two, died Philip McElroy, sadly he died when Tanner and Camomilla were visiting Frances. Fracnes also died, but he had a death flower in his inventory (I had no idea), so he was saved.

Trying his best not to waste his second chance he started dating Mary from Twinbrooks, who moved in. She will take over the retirement home on the next round and Demeter will move out. She will also inherit all of Demeter's debts. Demeter's rules from the random legacy are that she cant' succeed in her job, and she is currently working in the part time nursing career. She's artistic, loves to paint, but because of the legacy rule, I don't let her sell any paintings. But I do let her paint portraits for my town's people if they want them, and then giver her money from those. She for example did Frances' legacy portrait, and Camomilla's portrait. But she'll need to re-do Camomilla's portrait because I took the picture when it was night and it came out too dark. She also did Camomilla's brother's portrait, he's not the heir but he wanted a portrait.

Demeter is not dating anybody. Her brother Grayson will soon be a YA, and he has been dating Francois Gwydd. I'm really excited about Grayson becoming a YA and hopefully moving out to live with his boyfriend, so I can concentrate on Demeter and her art.

Goth:
I started with ageing up Mortimer, then had his parents murdered by Chucky Child's play, then sent him, Chucky and 6 other Sims into an asylum. When Mortimer was on level 5 of the medical career, Bella was a YA so I had him move out and marry her, then they, Bella's mother and brother, and Agnes moved to my town.

Bella got pregnant and had Cassandra. Mortimer is working in the medical field, currently at level 6. Cassandra just turned to a child, nothing much happening here yet.

Bachelor:
Jocasta was pregnant when Bella married Mortimer, she had a girl called,er, something that starts with a C. Nothing much happening here either. Jocasta is an elder, C is a child. I have no idea where Bella's dad is. When they were still living in SV, he was in the family tree, but not in anybodies relationship panel so I couldn't bring him along.

Bachelor:
Just started Michael's round. Nothing much happening here.

I still have to play Agness and then I can start with the first official round in the new hood. Very excited about this as it will be the first time ever I use a ROS.

I'm attempting to FINALLY have the stamina to max out inventing and make all the big inventions and a simbot. It's been cool so far.

Well, the inheritance lifetime reward came in handy - the Jenkins family now has a decent house with three (large) bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and an eat-in kitchen. Which is lucky, because Adam and Madeline just had another set of twins! This time they were boy-girl twins, Oliver and Rebecca. I don't think I'll make Oliver heir, I'll probably just go with whoever out of Marcus and Jonathan is the oldest. As Madeline and Adam now have 5 children, I just changed Madeline's LTW to Surrounded By family - if she lives long enough she'll manage to raise all 5 to teens for sure! :-)

So now Kayleigh and Rebecca are sharing a bedroom, and the three boys are sharing the biggest room. Kayleigh will age up to a child tomorrow, and Marcus and Jonathan just became toddlers. It's quite a hectic household! :-D

That's happened to me a few times. If it happens in my legacy game, I renovate the house right away if they have the funds, otherwise, the living room becomes a nursery. In my normal games, if they don't have the funds to renovate or relocate... I prefer renovating, I do money cheats

So normally when my Sim gives birth to multiples, it's always girls. I have been trying to get boys for over a year now, to no avail! I ate endless amounts of apples, but it just seemed that when using the fertility treatment (and even when it was just natural twins)...I always had girls. I can't even tell you how many families I tried on, and failed.

So I'm playing this sim family, and multiples aren't even on my mind. Just having a baby, whatever. So my sim eats what she wants (yes she did eat apple pancakes a few times, but watermelon as well) and when the time comes, what did she give birth to?

TRIPLET BOYS! I've never been more excited! The one time I didn't even try, and voila...boys!

Well after my young couple married and moved in together they found out that they really didn't get on that well and their personalities started to clash as she was a snob and quite social whereas he was friendly and bookworm so it was no surprise when I left their household to check up on the girl, Eve Gonzales' parents, Victoria Gonzales and Tony Gonzales they both ended up having affairs and the only reason they stayed together was the fact that if they got a divorce they would be the talk of the town (like having an affair was better!) so anyway after I went back to them I tried to salvage what was left of their relationship but before I could stop it Nathan (The guy) decided to move out of their home because she rejected his idea of having a child together, so I left with him and made him move in with his best friend (Not the girl who he had an affair with) Sara Rey who has a toddler called Amia Rey from a previous relationship. Anyway, Sara convinced Nathan to end his affair and try to patch things up with his wife but decided to let their emotions settle first, before I knew what what happening they were both well into their adulthood and neither had made an effort to patch up their relationship and Eve was single the whole time and so was Nathan however he was developing feeling for Sara because she was so similar to him.

Nathan visited Eve and finally broke up with her and asked Sara to go steady which they are still currently. Nathan has taught Amia to walk and talk and Sara has taught her how to use the potty.

Tony Gonzales, Eve's dad recently died so Eve is currently in mourning however seems to be doing quite well and is still single however she has been on a few dates.

Nathan wants to marry Sara but doesn't want to rush anything.
Sara is currently redecorating their home and it looks like a traditional home and is five bedrooms.
Nathan got all the money from the divorce however left Eve the house and cars.
