It's taken directly from the game files (specifically the SIMI, see
https://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=SIMI )
The reason the total price is less than the architecture is because of a constant noted at the bottom of that page:
"The Lot Value shown in the game is Empty + Sellable + Keepable + Architecture * 80%"
So this is why the Architecture is higher than the Total price.
