Default Game Launcher in Background?
Ok, my game takes forever to load. When I had the Sims 1, I could minimize the app, and play snood or something while it loaded. With the sims2, if I minimize it while loading, worst case it freezes on me, best case, when I maximize it again, it has not progressed. Is there any tool or mod that will let you load your game in the background while you are doing other things? Thanks!

Running Sims2 minimized destablizes the program. Better to play in windowed mode than to try to minimize your game while loading or playing.
