Default *Help* Hair Default Replacement Basic Tutorial....VERY Basic
Does anyone know where I can find an extremely basic, step-by-step, walkthrough of how to replace my maxis hair defaults with custom hairs? I'm not great at all with technical things, but I really need to learn as I have a huge project I'm trying to accomplish. I've tried three tutorials and a youtube video already, but they're not for beginners it seems. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

This one shows how to do it with hair:

Moogle's tutorial is also an option, but shows clothes instead of hair (it's essentially the same process, but with clothes there are fewer resources - linking because this one has some good explanations and pictures you might find useful)

It's probably not a beginner project to start with, and it involves SimPE and Bodyshop, but it is step by step with pictures. I don't think you can get it any more basic than this, unfortunately.

I'd recommend starting by defaulting clothes. (I used Moogle's tutorial thaat Simmer22 linked above.) After you do a few, you get the hang of it, and then it's easier to understand more of what you need to do with hair.

I don't know which youtube video you saw, but rudhira's was very helpful to me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGW0I5HcdTI
