This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Unclickable object in my Sim's family inventory
I'm having an issue with unclickable seashells that I moved to my Sim's family inventory because they were on a resort and I didn't want to have to check in to collect the seashells. I tried resetting them with Debug Enabler and it didn't help. I tried checking in at the resort front desk and it didn't help. I've been trying to research ways to make them clickable again, but those two attempts failed. And I've been having trouble locating other suggestions.

I don't want to delete them. My Sim needs to collect them to fulfill his wants.

Have you tried the classic "evict family and move back in"-solution? I googled your issue and found other people with the same problem. One solution seems to be to use MC's "Sort inventory" option, which seems to unstick things, or use DebugEnabler to move things to another inventory. Hope this helps

I'd rather not evict my household, even though I have things set up that almost always prevent any side effects. I would try the sort inventory option, but I thought that only worked on Sim inventories. I haven't tried the third option though.

The third option doesn't seem to be possible. At least not with family inventories. Most of the tips that I've found on the Internet are for purging the inventory. But I don't want that because then I'll lose the shells that my Sim needs to collect.

Also when I try sorting my Sim's family inventory by quality or value, nothing happens.

Edit: Managed to get them into my Sim's inventory. And I sorted them but the objects are still stuck.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I still have non-clickable objects.
