There is a nightlife object on this lot - the bowling alley. So you would need base game, university and nightlife. No OFB objects.

It's incredible, I wanted a graveyard and I get this amazing church. Very well done!
I have a couple of questions, if this is a community lot, what happens to sims that get married there. Will they go back together to the house of the sim I'm controlling or should I move them together first?

I downloaded the monk and nun from thesims2 main site but they come without outfit. Weird. Also the archs show up like in flashing blue, I think Family Fun Stuff have something to do with that.

Ghostman - the monk and nun I downloaded were before Family Fun stuff - I haven't bought any "stuff" packs - I don't see the point. Let me see if this helps - I found the original sims I downloaded, perhaps you can search for their names. Unfortunately I don't remember who made them, since I never intended uploading them.

Priests:

Father Kirkpatrick
Father Mahoney

Nuns:
Sister Mary Augustine
Sister Mary Bernadette

The community lot wedding functionality appears to have changed since OFB. I read up on it for you. If you have my sims get married on a community lot, you must first move them in together. I don't think the game knows how to move them into a house if you marry them on a community lot. Once they are moved in together and engaged, take them to the community lot. However, once they are on the community lot, you need to use the changelotzoning cheat to activate the wedding arch - changing the lot zoning to residential. It is a little risky, I know. You have to change it back to community before your sims leave.

I don't have any suitable sim couples in my game to try out this strategy immediately - I first have to get my engaged sims through college!

On the Exchange someone mentioned a hacked object you can put in a community lot - a wedding altar - which you can use instead of the arch, and which doesn't require the lot zoning to be changed. Apparently this is available on Modthesims2, but I have not searched for it. I am going to look for it if the above strategy doesn't work. Normally I try to avoid hacked objects.

Mostly, this cathedral serves as a decoration in my neighbourhood, and my sims usually get married in their lounge or garden, but go to the cathedral to socialise! But I find it very useful as a place to move the graves of my dearly departed sims to!

You did double click on the sims2pack file, didn't you.

Nannette, thank you for your answer, this is the link to enable community lots weddings:

As for the flashing blue archs, I redownloaded them for the page you indicated and I had no more troubles

Now that I see it in its full glory your cathedral is a real threat for the eyes. It looks even more impressive in the night. Way to play with the lights!

This is beautiful!

But, how do you call your sims friends to go to the church instead of the house? Please, tell me.

Excellent job, by the way!
