This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can I recover my Sims after forgetting to backup my game after unistalling an expansion pack?
I uninstalled an expansion pack today and I didn't know what they meant when they said backup your game, so I just uninstalled it and now all my sims are gone and the game is reset back to the default sims!(Goth, Pleasents,etc...)

Please help

No - if you don't have a backup from before you installed the EP you just uninstalled, then you won't be able to get your saves back.

Would System Restore work?

Ehm, probably not, it probably ignores the whole Documents folder tree.

Indeed, it does ignore documents - and even if that weren't the case, you'd also have to do system restore to before the EP was installed, not just before it was uninstalled.
