I keep hearing of this patch:

Just wondering if anyone has used it yet?

I am just scared, my game is glitchy enough, if I get any more glitches my head might literally explode.

It's pretty fair to trust anything J. M. Pescado puts out. I'm using that patch. There is a description of what it does in that thread...

Keep an eye on it, because there will probably be additional fixes as time goes on & you will just need to re-download it and re-introduce it to your game.
