Actually, she's even skinnier now (akin to the original Bild Lilli-inspired doll). The chunkier Barbie was a "limited edition" at the turn of the century after poor sales. Mattel's market research denoted that this was due in part to the children who owned the thicker Barbie dolls were being bullied for having "fat Barbies".

OMG! It's really her! Thank you! I still have aaaallllll my Barbie dolls, and I got my first one over thirty years ago! What does that tell ya about my obsession?! lol! She's beautiful, Stefan......and perfect!

Oh and I should mention, Barbie HAS had a breast reduction...I was playing "Barbies" with my nieces...I had my old 1988 California Dreamin' Barbie vs. their new Beach Barbies and wow the difference!!! Either way, I'm gonna put her in a kid-friendly neighborhood and let those little girls go nuts!
