Default Best method of transferring backup files?
Fromone gaming rig to another.

Copy to an external portable drive, insert drive into new machine's port, delete or rename any files with similar names, paste to appropriate place in new gamedata folder.

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

If you have them both connected to your router, you could transfer directly over your LAN.

I would use the method of coping to a portable external hard drive though it would be the entire EA Games folder as a 7 zip and place it in another safe location like a subfolder while I was setting my game up and testing it.I've already been though this when I installled UC years ago on my current laptop.I copied compressed files over and just tested the game before switching the files.
