I was a bit sad, one of the sims who died was an elder, and she'd just retired. She was also the second sim born in the hood many years ago (the first is her husband, who is the mourner). The other sim that died was an elderly townie who they had living with them as a room mate.

The traits mod working its magic. I forgot about the No Sense Of Humor trait I rolled here and told a bad joke, knocking the date meter down a peg. At least I got it back to good before the date ended (she had class?)

Yes dying is sad. Last weekend my sim died in fire. It was my decicion to keep game challenging and not bougth fire alarm system. Also, I wanted to fullfill him fear about fire. But the dying was sad. I would like to fulfill more fears.

Christel Capp held two parties for her friend Helena Monty and Helena's partner Darshan Rawaswami, with the rest of the contestants from Helena's bachelorette challenge and some other single-and-ready-to-mingle sims. The first party mostly consisted of everyone smustling, so for the second evening Christel hid away the stereo so people would socialize. It did kind of work, an npc called Allan who Christel met at the music & dance hobby lot flirted with her so they fell in love, and Christel is almost friends with the now adult townie Katherine Gregory. Though later in the evening a bunch of people went outside to tend the garden and get stuck on hills instead.

Flavius Monty wanted to get into private school, so dinner with the headmaster was arranged and the headmaster was impressed. Except I had forgotten Flavius is currently doing badly in school, so only his younger sister Lennox got in (though I decided that once Flavius works his way up to at least a C I'll get him in via SimPE).

Titania and Oberon Summerdream invited Puck and Bottom and there respective spouses and children for a little Summerdream meet-up in the house where they live along with their youngest daughter Hippolyta. Although Hal and Bottom, and Puck and Hermia, seemed mostly interested in each other. A cold is going around Veronaville, so Titania made everyone comfort soup.

Imogen Capp hung around the community lots as usual. I don't really know what to do with her yet, but since she's a pleasure sim with a grilled cheese secondary aspiration I'm considering having her make money from things like cooking and dancing competitions. In any case, she went to the park and a cute pizza deliverer was there. Pizza and grilled cheese have a lot in common so Imogen went for it and tried talking to her about grilled cheese, and she was actually willing to listen. (Grilled cheese and Cordelia Capp to be exact, maybe she was saying she got scared by Cordelia's ghost while making grilled cheese, which might very well have happened.)

Guildenstern Capp invited exterminator npc Travis Collins over, and the two of them fell in love and now they want to get married. Goneril brought Christel Capp home from work, Christel managed to completely tire herself out in some way and fell asleep in her food, at which point Guildenstern and Travis who were the only other sims eating quietly excused themselves from the table and now I don't remember how that situation resolved itself. Surely I didn't just leave her there. ...Surely. Well, she got home at some point so clearly it worked out fine.

Regan Capp took another trip to the tinkering hobby lot. Fortunately her enemy Curtis Ryan wasn't there this time, and there were some new faces around. Mostly people hung out in front of the building, taking turns appreciating each other and getting turned down for it every time, or poking/teasing each other. Great atmosphere.

EAxis wrote mini tutorials on how to fulfill fears in their description, which is funny to me for some reason.

Weirdest thing. Loaded my game up and my most recently played lots terrain as showing as pink in world view on every load, so I went into the lot, it loaded fine, no errors and no crashes. Exited, said yes to save (habit!) and once getting back to world view, the lot was back to regular colours. Reloaded game - no more pink.

How weird.

It has had a few additions since the traits came out, such as the Color Traits mod and additional traits, but this is the starter.

For me, I've had no problem with any of it.

I have had a couple of conflicts using trait mods but no real issues. I am pretty choosy about which mods I use, though. I do use the one with the bad jokes for no sense of humor. I always forget about it until it activates. I like it.
