Default New Budgie!
Brood 3 is starting to hatch! One of the eggs was infertile so we threw it out - it's the brownish egg in the picture.

I saw the egg moving and heard the chick inside peeping loudly. It was so neat! And a couple minutes later, I came back to see the chick fresh out of the shell.

One of the eggs was destroyed - possibly by one of the older chicks - and another one was a dud, so we tossed it. Things like that happen I guess. But yeah... we have a new baby and Mama Budgie is a good mother.

Looks like this time we're in the clear. Still glad I found my portable DVD player just in case. Hope at least one of the babies is either plain yellow or white. It'd be cool We're gonna try to sell most of the babies, and we might even sell Sno-Cone and Banana. Who knows? They'd make some people happy!

@Smorbie1 and I were chatting in the PMs about our recent brood, and we have a confirmed -ino baby. Yup... it's a girl! We're gonna be watching the other babies though to make sure the parents are caring for them.

Thanks! Those will hopefully be the last ones for this year though... Mama Budgie needs to rest!
