why thank you. quite nice to be able to use the whole thing huh? I know i personally spent quite a bit of time making neighborhoods, and was bummed at first when i couldn't use them. I'd appreciate any feedback. I am thinking of changing the rotation speed (slow it down) and making it so you can zoom in further. And maybe limit it so you can't QUITE see the edge of the map.....ya know, just so you don't have the ugliness of the unrendered drop off

Thanks. I tried to do this but couldn't get it to work. Good on you. I wish I'd seen it earlier as I had to go back and redo my city in SC4 about 5 times

Used it for the first time last night, its a VERY cool camera tweak! I also see what you mean about the edges, strange they allowed the camera to pan out that far without adding SC4 style textures to the side?

snappledude21 , excellent work. I like it very much, even if I do see the edges, which has come in handy for placing things like the sailboat decorations at the very edge of the map, etc. I wonder...do you think you could make the zoom so that we can zoom in much closer? I like to get shots of my house in the neighborhood and it does not get close enough in to get great shots. Thanks so much.

This is the best mod for the Sims 2 yet! I made a city in SC4 and got annoyed how the camera didn't go all the way. Fixed Now! 10 for you.

Oh I don't care about seeing the edges of the map. As long as I can put houses in more locations.

Where do you put the text file at?

I'd be most appreciative if someone would post specific instructions as to how this neighborhood view fix file should be downloaded to the game. A number of weeks have passed since the previous post to this forum and I'm wondering if this particular file is actually bogus. Hmm...gotta wonder : )

what you do is select all the text then right click on hit copy then go into your documents/eagames/sims2/cameras file select the neighborhood camera text file then right click and select paste then save

Thanks Snapple, I just got 3 of the old TOS terrains and this is gonna make them better to play!!

Oh Angle..

are you a 45 degree angle or a 90? You would probably get more help if you went to the proper forum, huh?

This is a fantastic hack. I love it.....finally I can use the whole neighborhoods to put lots/buildings on it.

I downloaded a HUGE neighborhood from an other site, which basically contains like 3 neighborhoods in one map.
In order to use it, you really need your neighborhood view hack installed.
Thanks again for that hack.

I know this is a LONG time from then (LOL) but this is great! I downloaded a city with basically a bunch of islands on it - this is helping so much! I could only see 1 island and a little teensy weensy bit of 3 others! Lol...
