Is there any reason why this mod would turn on shadows (I usually keep them off), cause neighborhoods to get the blocky look and have low-res texures, grey out smooth edges, make the game not recognize the graphic card, and generally mess up graphic settings?

I added this mod to my game about a month ago (around when it was released), but haven't played for a while (I don't think I ran the game after adding the mod), and when I tried to play now, the above happened. My game has worked fine up until now, and the only new mod I have added is this one. I tried to remove it, but nothing changes ingame.

I'll do a bit of researching, and hopefully it's not the mod or a crashing graphics card, but just some setting that's turned itself off or some such.

I never saw the game pre-glitch apparently because I never knew there was supposed to be anything up there! I'm amazed that EA would let this slide. Thanks for your work.

Does anyone know why certain camera mods cause crashes? Lowedus's mod is a fair stopgap, but I really miss Gunmod's Live and CAS cameras. I'm willing to try to fix it myself, if the issue easily defined.

Hi

This looks awesome and I would really like it in my game but want to check a couple of things first as I am quite new to Sims 2 and learning what I can do.

Can anyone tell me if I can use this program alongside the New Weather atmosphere mod please.

I also downloaded Scriptorium with Gunmod's Radiance Light System and that appears to work as well so I don't want to bork anything up by adding something that uses the same files.

Hi
I There is a MOD in development now.
However, it really conflict with your skyFix MOD.
May I ask you a favor? May I incorporate the function of skyFix MOD to my MOD?
I would appreciate your reply.

Hi, I just downloaded the v2 of this mod and plopped it into my (freshly re-installed, nothing but general mods/'hood deco) game and the edges of the hood still look blue and wonky... Did I do something wrong? I have Gunmod's camera hack, would a better one work differently with this mod? I really hate those blue fade things and would love to get rid of them! Help!

@dragonfly3007 The reason is a wrong value of the stdMatLayer parameter in material files of skyboxes. There are no skyboxes compatible with the SkyFix yet, but Lowedeus is going to release some in a few days.

Hello, I am having a problem with the updated version. In version 1 I know I could see the terrain paint/floor tiles on other lots, but with version 2 I can't. Here's a picture:
