This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can I resurrect sims by altering them in simpe?
By unchecking all the ghost options and changing their age? And then going in game and teleporting them back to the home.

That's not a good idea.

Most of the dead that still has there full data are corrupted.

Meet me at the river has fixed most of them but I would still not resurrect them.

Believe me I did all the work to make them usable again and it took a long time.

Now if you want to play all the ancestors then just get my Beginning Hoods and have fun with good clean none corrupted sims. http://modthesims.info/member.php?u=7749491

I wasn't thinking about the ancestors but a pair of sims that I created and that just recently died. I was wanting to redo part of their story. Do player-created sims get corrupted when they die?
I suppose I could use sim surgery to recreate them but I really want them to keep their memories.

Player-created sims should be fine to resurrect, but you should do it using the resurrect-o-nomitron in-game. If you don't have anyone related to the sims who died, Cyjon has a special resurrect-o-nomitron which will resurrect any sim who is buried on the lot, regardless of whether anyone knew them.
