I WANT DISEASE! seriously, a more elaborate set of illnesses that would actually make sims go to hospital, or stay in bed, or even die, for crying out loud. and a whole lot of events and interactions could come along with the theme. for example, taking pills. not taking them would aggravate the condition, or you could even commit suicide, by taking more than. and accidents. broken limbs, living with physical disabilities... headaches, migraines, bring it on!

I would like diseases too. Deadly but not extreme ones.
Would be cool if they could get colds, headaches and stomach bugs. Maybe some other weird ones that they can contract from the aliens That's pretty mild and would fit all audiences.
TS3 aliens? Finally! Now give us OFB and proper apartments, damnit! - EA, you are breaking my heart. - I give up.

Erm, the bolded. You might want to think twice before you come up with ideas for illness and disease because that's seriously offensive and would offend so many people beyond that of which EA did with Sweet Treat's...The debate of physical disabilities has proven that it would also be casted out because it can be taken to offense. But there are some things there that you put a good point such as broken limbs, and illness to put them in the hospital or stay in bed or even die..But they'd have to be wacky ones like Llama Flu or Euzygitelinosizeniegynessitical Disease.

THIS. If they are going to have disease and illness then lighten it up by giving us bizarre symptoms like hallucinations, halitosis, temporary insanity, inability to speak in anything but llama sounds, erratic gestures, etc.
I'd also love to see a Hypochondriac trait added. They would get positive moodlets when they get sick and have the option to get check-ups at the hospital whenever they want. :P

I liked the depressed state with the tragic clown. Or the social bunny/therapist. That was pretty light hearted.
Hypochondriac would have been awesome

I probably posted this several times in this thread, still hoping for weather. Seasons was my favorite expansion pack in the Sims 2. Not sure how many more expansion packs they are going to make, I just hope they can squeeze rain and snow in there somewhere.
I once thought i was sad because I had no shoes, then I saw a man with no feet.

Yes! I know everyone wants 'their' disease/disorder in the Sims, but I still think it would be awesome to have more mental states as traits. They'd actually affect how your Sim acted as well. It'd probably be too complicated to have therapists, and medication, and all that (plus it might offend people), but I think it would still be cool to have traits like 'depressed', 'hypochondriac', 'anxious', 'optimistic', etc. They could still keep it lighthearted, but I think that would be so much fun. An Optimistic Sim would get a positive moodlet more often, while a Depressed Sim would get a 'sad' or 'lonely' moodlet often and at random.

Well, Sims already have therapists, but it shouldn't have been limited to the Mid-Life Crisis.

This is minor but I wish being Mayor actually meant something in the game. I also wish we could stay as Mayor if we wanted to instead of advancing in career and could keep the job so long as we were doing a good job (if you job bar goes into negative, you may get kicked out of office). We could pass town laws that don't actually do anything but might annoy some constituents who would then complain. We could also give "uplifting speeches" to constituents and at fundraising parties.
Also, if another Sim got to the Mayor level of their political career, there could be an election challenge where the candidates would have to make as many friends as possible in the next 24 hours in order to win. If the incumbent lost, you would just move up to the next level of the political track.

Sims 3: Secrets and Shadows
- Your Sim can join a secret society and help to keep the world safe or plot its downfall.
- Lots of secret goodies (Hidden doors, secret safes, objects disguised as other objects eg computer that folds out from a table)
- New missions that take you into secret installations and labs, can you survive and find the secrets hidden within?
- Spy cars, bikes and other vehicles.
- Recruit some of your more trusted friends as minions.

Why has there never been something where there are different decades with styles typical to the era. E.G. '50s '80s etc and then have items unlocked as the times go on but only take effect on new neighborhoods, much like sim city and how different buildings become available after different times.
American Rocker Bomb, similar to an Irish car bomb, take a shot glass and fill it with five hour energy, then take a pint glass and fill it with your choice of energy drink. Drop in the shot glass and chug, then wait for SVT to set in.

Course no reason a few modders could not get together and release an unofficial expansion for Shadows and Secrets

Sounds too much like World Adventures for me. Missions, hidden places, etc. I like the spy vehicles though and recruiting minions!

It should have come in generations, but I wish there would be some way of having an adult take custody of a child who isn't their biological offspring. A bit like adoption but not wipe memories or change the family tree (perhaps just have two lines, one going to greyed out biological parents, the other to adoptive parents).
I recently had a hot headed father and hot headed son living in the hose. The teen son got caught being out after curfew, the dad lectured, relationship went down, then they both went inside and proceeded to yell at each other until the dad SLAPPED the son. I mean, this game, where they put in place a curfew system to protect teens from roaming the streets at night, allows children to be physically attacked by their parents?! He now lives with his best friend's family in the spare room, but I'd love to be able to have him part of the family 'officially'.

I'd really like an apocalypse style EP. so with lots of Grunge themed objects broken buildings, trashed objects etc and new interactions for example ZOMBIES that can bite and infect people, the hunted moodlet would appear for regular sims when a zombie was near, zombies would have their own way of walking (like the Mummy) and your sim would run away from them or brave sims would shoot them. Weaker sims would get caught and eaten. New ways of scavenging, so the ability for all sims to break into residential lots and steal food etc, be able to sleep on floors and hide in closets and set traps to capture zombies. If you kill a zombie the Grim Reaper wouldn't appear, and our deserted streets wouldnt be plagued by taxis.
Anyway, I dont see EA ever doing this, so I'm trying to get all the great creators to join a Community Project for making a post-apocalyptic world (the link is in my signature)

I was looking at the pictures of the new Casino, and I noticed that, in the background, the world look new. Of course, it could have been a test world to show off the lot, but there are also new plants in the background.
I think we might be getting a new desert world. MIGHT. Those palm trees and the bushes are very unfamiliar. I thought it might be a willow at first, but it's not.

Where's this casino from?
I'm dying for a desert world but I guess it would be typical of Ea to limit expansion as always.

Fuming. I see the gambling set includes a gambling skill.
This should not be store content, END OF.

IKR? I even remember that survey before they released Showtime that asked what we wanted to see in a Casino

Ok... before people get upset... Gambling is, actually, a Showtime skill (I think used in pool and.or dominoes) but it's hidden.
All this did was add it to the tab of real skills. Since I don't have the lot, I don't know if the two work in tandem.
