I am having a problem downloading the tiki wall and floor set, I have been getting a 404 not found error. I have tried several times this afternoon but have had no success so far. I just wondered if there is a problem with the file at all? I have downloaded a couple of the other items without any problems.

I think this set is brilliant and I can tell that you have all worked really hard on it. Thank you.

lientebollemeis: some of the files need NL, Pets or Uni, but 90% is base game, anyway if you got all EPs up to FT you can download everything without concerns

raynuss: sorry to hear that, I didn't create the mesh but it was tested by the Highrollers members .... we'll check and let you know something, in the meanwhile I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.

UserLaura76: you're right, some of the files are giving a 404 not found error, I can only guess it's a matter of random non function but later I'll try to fix the problem at least for the tiki walls-floors (now I can't, I'm watching the soccer match Italy-USA, sorry, it's another passion I have ... soccer and Valentino Rossi)

By the way, the whole group enjoyed working together on this theme, unfortunately some lots are still missing and will be added later but we're sure you'll have great time with this mini and unofficial SP, long life to TS2!

I'd like to add that when I tested the objects, I used a vanilla game, no downloads, no hacks and just added the objects to a Maxis community lot in Pleasantville. When I played the lot, there were 7 townies plus my controllable sim. None of the townies used either the craps table or the slots in 15 miinutes of play. They were all obsessed with the poker table and the bingo cube though.

hi guys, This is fantastic work, great idea, only 1 problem for me is I can only get 1 club to load, The fish tank lot crashes my game I have all except University and Apartment life, any ideas???

I will try to answer any questions that do come up. The craps table does function in my game with out any of the above issues but I have all EPs and SPs.

finally vegas stuff! I created this casino lot a little while back and was miffed that I couldn't find any casino/vegas stuff. now I can go back and make it look really awesome. thank you!

A very big thank to all of you for sharing this outstanding set and for the stunning work you made on it ! Most of you are my favorite creators and some are my friends, so I am so happy to have your creation in my game !

I did some additional testing of the craps table. I made a community lot in a vanilla game with all expansions plus M&G and placed only the craps table on it. None of the townie sims used the table. I had my sim roll the dice. Most of the non-playable sims watched and cheered or boo-ed each time the dice were rolled. No one placed bets. I had my sim stop rolling and had him place a low risk bet. After placing his chips on the table, he just stood there because no one was rolling the dice. My sims and all the sims that were watching, just stood there without doiing anything. I cancelled my sims bet action, and now everyone was stuck. My sim wouldn't do anything because he was waiting for the dice to be rolled and no one was rolling dice. So now everyone on the lot was stuck at the table and I couldn't make my sim do anything. I had to exit the lot without saving

Wow! You don't know how many times I played my lots in Strangetown thinking,"If only Maxis had included a casino, this would be even more fun." No desert community is complete without one! Now, thanks to you, I can finally create a realistic casino instead of the pitiful excuse for one I have currently. Combine the casino with a few items I downloaded from your sexy sims site (blush!) and my sims will have more fun than I will ever dare to!

Thanks for the report on the craps tables. I made the mesh for the craps and Texas Holdem tables but I am brainless when it comes to doing the animations and BHAV's. I'll report it to the animators. :0)

Is this correct? I have the following issues:


Craps:
* No one except controlled sim seems interested in playing the craps table.
* NPC's won't place bets causing copntrolled sims to lock when it is not that sims turn to throw dice.
* Sim does not autonomously play craps or participate unless directed by human. They get stuck at the table.

Texas Holdem:
* The poker table seems to have a footprint problem. Sims walk through the chair to the left of the dealer AND any sim sitting in that spot.

Slots:
*NPC's don't seem interested in playing slots

Yes, porkypine, you got all the problems I've had so far. BTW, the meshes you made are beautiful...excellent job and the textures are supurb. Now if the animations and BHAV's were tweaked a bit...
