Default WCIF a way to convert Sims 3 packs lots to package files etc
Hi Everyone, it's been a while since I've played the sims 3 but I'm getting into it again and was wondering if there is a method to make sims 3 packs lots like package files. I have a memory of doing something similar to bypass installing it through the launcher but can't quite remember how I did it.

With the Multi extractor it is possible..

Though checking first the .sims3pack through CUSTARD is a must so that you will know the instance name/number/whatever (0xblahblahblah) to know which specific file you should get. Especially when the lot file has lots of cc included.

Also, the package file for lots goes into the library folder, not the Mods folder like any other package files.

I use the multi extractor along with the thumbnail extractor https://modthesims.info/t/494172 (particularly with lots that come with a lot of CC). It gives you a preview thumbnail .jpg of every package file in the package/sims3pack, so you can immediately see which cc is which. The lot's thumbnail will be plainly visible (an image of the lot), and share the name of the particular package that is the lot, so that you can quickly tell.
