4love10 - I just tested and downloaded a 4.4 MB file - perhaps try again? Or are you using a download accelerator? Did you try opening the 131k file - perhaps it is a system error message instead of the download? If you're using a download accelerator, tell it NOT to accelerate - or to use 1 connection at a time.

It's not working for me, none of them. Are expansions needed? I didn't see any exp requirements....I did look really. I have original and university. when I downloaded them they were regular files, not zips, should they be zips? Only thing i could think of that could be wrong. Sigh.... silly sims addiction...
This is such good stuff i really want to try and get it working.
thanks

Silverbeam - I'm not sure which 'none of them' you mean. The clothing should NOT require expansions. Some of the items *might* but it's stated in the description if there's an ep needed. The lots I think all require many eps.

I can tell you that if you simply download the zips, unzip them, and drag the files that are inside the folders to either your saved sims or downloads folder, that things will show up. Do NOT put the clothing in sub-folders, it doesn't work.
Installing stuff by hand is NOT that hard.

Ah, I have my sims clothing in it own sub folder and I don't have a problem with them not showing up. I have all my downloads in subfolders in my downloads folder for easy findings in case I want to take them out and they all show up. So I would have to say it does work.

This is a wonderfull project, Thank you for all your hard work. I have one question though, have you noticed Meshkiste is closed for a unknown amount of time. Is there another way to get the meshes. I know the site has a very generous policy about including the meshes in the recolorpackage of housepackage. Just thought you should know.

In the houses i built i used items from meshkiste and they allow redistribution so everything is included in the house packages. :-)

Wow! This is amazing! I can't wait to start downloading, too bad I need to buy some expansions first. I also have a question that is off topic, but I don't know where to ask. Where can someone ask for requests of new objects? Thanks, and I can't wait to get my hands on that car.

MythicRuler, the clothing won't need expansions, although some of the objects and lots do. And there is not requests area at mts2, sorry.

Thanks tiggerypum. And I thought there were requests, because people often say "made on request" but I guess it was requested elsewhere. Thanks for clearing that up!

Sometimes people personally request something from someone (like in a PM, or ask for a variation of something politely in a thread) but we no longer have a requests area. It was difficult to maintain, some of the folks using it were very rude and ingrateful, and very few requests were actually fulfilled - so it was a lot of work for the staff to supervise for very little gain.

there are no adjectives in any language worthy enough to describe how beautiful this project is
and because of it i would like to make all my sims live in this medieval world, but there is something that's ruining my ideea: the townies...
is there any way to force the townies to only wear the custom content clothing integrated in this project(and any other medieval-like clothing taken from somewere else)?
if there already is a post(or tutorial) dealing with this issue, i appolagize for not knowing of it, but it's been a while since i've played the game and i never done any major moding on it and only recently joined the MTS community

bogdan_zainea - so far all I've found is using sim surgery in SimPE and changing the entire looks of the sim which will catch the clothing also. This is an old tutorial, and the pics don't come up with it right now, but sim surgery is supposed to be pretty easy to do... http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?p=618465

I'm keeping an eye open for more info about how to do this best

Enjoy

There exist a mega project Scotia http://www.genensims.com/guest/MadameMim/Scotia.htm, it will give you a neighbourhood with medieval npc and townies. You need over much of the dark project and midsimersnight dream and a load of other items to get to work great but it look extremely good. You get some empty houses and, some shops and some families you can start with.

Default Problem with a downloading link
Hello

The 'Wizard' link in this set is not working. When I try to install the file I am getting this error message - Unexpected End OF Archive

WizPrince: - updated May 22 with corrected wizard mesh
10 Dark Prince outfits in 2 colors by Zoe, 2 Wizards by Alex
Includes 4 meshes by Tig, 1 mesh by Besen

Thankyou

tomboy - how about reading the big notice on the top of the pages. The problem is not the download. It's the entire site. Try using a different browser and see if that helps, it has for some folks.

I apologize if this has been mentioned before. I only checked pages 8, 9, and 10 for this problem.

Many of the dresses from the Medieval section are showing up in my game as one of the default outerwears, as well as any recolors using the meshes involved on this page. That tells me that I didn't get the mesh installed, but I've installed and re-installed the clothings on here (and Midsimmer night's dream when I thought it was those dresses), and I am still having the same problem.

I'm wondering if there was somewhere else I was supposed to download a mesh as well, but after looking over it multiple times I still can't figure it out.

I'm sorry, I really didn't want to have to bug you about this.

WONDERFUL content by the way! It really saves the day for me, especially as I am crap at making much of any clothing, let alone meshes. ^_^ Thank you.

EDIT: If you need specifics, I know that the ones by Liz in the Working set are having this problem. I do not remember what other ones are, however.

Melian_Alcarime - I am certainly confused, because I included the meshes with each set. Are you putting your downloads into sub-folders? Clothing meshes _do not like_ sub-folders.

Hmmm.. I don't know. Lemme check.

Oh. Yeah. They are. That's the problem. I didn't realize that they were in folders. *oops* They must've been in folders in the .rar files.

*sigh* I knew the problem was something simple. Sorry. But thank you for your trouble.

stupidsoldier - redownload. That means your file did not download completely. If you continue to have difficulties, you might want to look into using a download manager so that if you lose the connection, your file completes:
