The Little Mermaid: Melody's Rule
Article:
This past week I attended a very exciting play. Many of you know of the Disney series called The Little Mermaid well the play was the third movie in the series. The new movie has been finished but the producers decided they wanted perform the movie as a play first. I personally thought it was a fantastic idea because you got to see the physical people in reality. Then following the play we got an exclusive interview with the cast
(1989) I will review the three movies they have out so that those who haven’t seen them get some background knowledge for this article. In the first movie we see Princess Ariel as a rebellious teenager dealing with challenges every teenager faces; her father, curiosity and love. She falls in love with a human and does everything possible to be with her prince, even if she has to be human. So the villain Ursula gives Ariel legs but takes her voice because Eric only knows her from her voice because he heard her singing one day. Then Ursula pretends to be human to take Eric away from Ariel all to get Ariel’s father’s trident because it is the ultimate power. As they say it has the power of all the seven seas. The power banishes Ursula in the end.
(2000) In the second movie it shows Eric and Ariel as King and Queen with their 12 year old daughter. The beginning it shows the Ursula’s sister Morgana interrupting the celebration of the birth of Princess Melody and threatening her and her family, which caused Ariel to hide the sea life and everything about mer people from Melody to keep her safe. Of course she didn’t listen. She goes into the sea and finds a locket that reveals to her who she really is and she sides with Morgana not knowing who she is because she gave Melody exactly what she wanted; fins. Morgana soon ask Melody to get the trident from her grandfather King Triton so that Melody can stay a mermaid. Obviously Morgana doesn’t live up to her end of the bargain and tries to take over the sea and then Melody saves the day by taking back the trident to give to her grandfather. He banishes her like he did to Morgana’s sister Ursula. Then now that Melody knows about mer people there is no reason for the concrete wall so they banish it in the end.
(2008) This movie was made as a prequel to the first move tying up ends that left the fans confused. In the beginning it shows the death of Ariel’s mother, Queen Athena. Her death was caused by a ship hitting her when she goes to grab a music box her husband gave to her. As a result of her death King Triton banishes music from the kingdom, which causes Ariel to rebel because she met Flounder and followed him to an underwater club. Realizing music is something her mother loved she does whatever she can to bring it back despite Marina’s(the villain) constant derailing. Ariel finds the music box that helps her father realize that taking away music was wrong and he revokes the law.
As for the play I watched, I was surprised. The plot was very intriguing. The movie shows Princess Melody as an adult. In the second movie she decides to stay human instead of choosing the mermaid life which gets brought up again. But in this movie she works to take over the family’s rule in Atlanta after the death of her grandfather King Triton. The villain in this movie is Edmund a merman. He thinks he deserves the throne since Melody hasn’t really been a mermaid very long and he has. He thinks that since King Triton was his father’s brother that he should assumed the position of king.
For the interviews we got the chance to ask a question. I asked Miss Taylor Jeffrees who played Melody in the play and does her voice in the movie ‘What her favorite part of the movie making was?’ She told me her favorite part was singing. She loves to sing and she told me if her acting career didn’t work out she was going to sing. I thought it was pretty great that she does all of her singing. Most of the other actors have other people sing for them.
This is a must see play but it’s only for a limited. If you miss the preformance you will only be able to see it in animated movie form. The animate movie is not out yet but it is coming out in the next month. You can see it at the Mohawkea Opera House. The tickets are sold there at the opera house if anyone wants to attend.

Prompt 1: Play Opening
Prompt 2: Don Lothario
Wordcount: 946
Don Lothario and the Art of Woohoo (Preview)
Don Lothario is back at it again, and this time he’s starring as himself in the brand new Broadway play: Don Lothario and the Art of Woohoo. Audiences are taken on a wild journey depicting Lothario’s lavish life of woohoo.
Don Lothario and the Art of Woohoo features Katy Wright, Cheyenne Hall, and Alysha Primley. Three young girls, who are subjected to Lothario’s “artistic” abilities. The play begins at Lothario’s Bridgeport loft where Lothario appears to be getting ready for work; when suddenly, the doorbell rings. At the door awaits one of Lothario’s lovers, Katy Wright. Katy is the CEO and founder of Simstyle, a high-end fashion magazine based in Bridgeport. Katy and Lothario go way back, they have been briefly dating (on and off) since high school, but due to Katy’s success the relationship could never prosper as a result of Katy’s frequent travels. However, in the first scene Katy had just arrived back from a business trip and seems to have been missing Don. Katy barges into Don’s apartment and begins to unclothe Don. Don, being the bachelor he is, doesn’t resist, and well… things happen. After, all is said and done, Don once again gets ready for work, kissing Katy goodbye and leaving Katy at the loft to herself. The scene fades, and the audience is now presented with Don Lothario appearing at his desk working away when his intern, Alysha Primley, approaches him about the status of his proposal. Alysha has been Don’s intern for the past month and tends to be very shy and timid. Although, something about Alysha causes Don to be attracted to her, he’s not entirely sure whether it’s the ginger hair or the glasses… Don tells Alysha not to worry and that the proposal would be done by tomorrow and that they would review the document over dinner. Alysha, at first, denies the offer, but after a bit of awkward stares and flirtatious convincing, Don makes Alysha submit. Alysha exits stage left, and Don continues on with his work with a big ole smirk on his face. After finishing his work, Don heads home after a short day at work to get ready for dinner with Alysha. Shortly after arriving home, Don receives a call from an unknown number asking about his whereabouts. Confused, Don, interrogates the caller but receives nothing but heavy breathing and then a busy tone. Don hangs up the telephone and goes on his way to dinner. In the next scene, Don is walking up to the restaurant ready to go in when he receives yet another anonymous call, it appears to be the same person, so Don threatens to call the police if the person does not stop. Once again, Don receives heavy breathing and then a busy tone.
Inside the restaurant, Alysha anxiously awaits Don’s arrival. After a few moments, Don walks inside and greets Alysha with a kiss on the hand, Alysha blushes. Over dinner, Alysha talks about the documents, and reviews the proposal. Don, on the other hand, seems uninterested, gazing into Alysha’s eyes before belting out “Wow, you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen”. Alysha is taken by surprise, and is not entirely sure as to how to reply, but blushes. Don continues to flirt with Alysha, but Alysha begins to grow uncomfortable before excusing herself and heading home. Don, sits at the table broken, and proceeds to the bar. In the midst of getting completely wasted, Don receives another call from the anonymous caller except this time the caller immediately hangs up. Frustrated and let down, Don goes home and calls it a night.
The next morning, Don is woken up by a call from the infamous anonymous caller. Being cranky, and woken up from his sleep Don asks “what the hell do you want with me?” and the caller responds “I want you” before hanging up. Suddenly, Don receives a knock at the door. A bit shaken, Don grabs a bat, conveniently located next to his bed, and goes to answer the door. As Don opens the door he realizes that it’s just Katy. Katy screeches as she thinks she’s about to be hit by the bat and asks Don what’s going on. Don tells Katy about the sketchy calls he’s been receiving. Katy says she has a solution which ends up involving Don doing what he does best, woohoo. After screwing, Katy leaves the apartment, and Don receives another strange call. This time the caller asks Don if he misses them. Don tells the person to plum off, and hangs up. As Don hangs up his doorbell goes off, this time, it’s Alysha and she seems to be drunk and upset. Apparently, her boyfriend broke up with her (Don wasn’t aware of this), and this is when Don realizes why Alysha was not reacting to his attempts. Don takes the chance to comfort Alysha, does a bit of alluring chit chat, and eventually reaches his goal of woohooing with Alysha. The morning after, Alysha wakes up trying to grasp what happened last night when she becomes aware that she slept with her boss. Bewildered and frantic, Alysha throws on some clothes and darts to the door. A few days go by, and Don hears nothing from neither Alysha nor Katy, but after about a week of no strange calls, Don receives yet another. This time, the caller tells Don to open the door. Don cautiously opens the door when suddenly… (You’ll have to watch the play to find out what happens, silly).
Don Lothario and the Art of Woohoo premiers this Saturday at the Magnolia Grand Theater in Magnolia Promenade, Willow Creek.

Willow Creek Library holds Its First Event: Book Signing for local author Monique Vazquez
Written by Paige Turner
The Willow Creek Library announced today that each week they will be holding events to get more people to come down and enjoy what they have to offer since the new library is now operational. The first event will be a Book Signing which will be held from Noon to Three whereas the public can come down take a tour of the new library and stop in the Event Room to talk with Monique Vazquez as she will be signing and talking about her new books Aliens Fact or Fiction and Gothic Haunting: Blackraven Estate.
Miss Vazquez was gracious enough to sit down with me after Ms Crumplebottom took me on a tour of the new library. She told me that she will have both of her new books as well as many of her older titles available for sale. She be signing books whether you purchase them there or bring in ones you already have. In addition each day she will hold two raffles. One for a mystery bag containing no less than fifty simoleons of items and the second raffle will be for a collection of six first edition printings of her older titles. The raffle costs five simoleons and all proceeds will also go the Willow Creek Library.
As to her new books she told me that Aliens Fact or Fiction came about after hearing about Bella Goths abduction where she was gone for a few years. The book took years of research about aliens and those that claim to have seen them. There are several chapters dedicated to Mrs Goth and her recount of what happened. Miss Vazquez told me in the end it is up to the individual if they believe or not in aliens but for her she believes.
Her other book Gothic Haunting: Blackraven Estate is a story of a young couples move to a new town after winning an auction for Blackraven Estate. Blackraven Estate has been empty for thirteen years since its last owner was found dead in his study. Since the town could not seem to sell it whether it be from the stories of hauntings or just the shady past of every owner before that had met an untimely death. The new couple laughs about the stories and moves in to their new home having spent all their savings on it. It is what happens to them from this point that will keep the readers on the edge of their seats. Miss Vazquez told me that this is book one of five planned for this series. She would not disclose whether the series would be on this couple or the other owners of Blackravens Estate.
The library’s spokesperson Ms Crumplebottom told us that Miss Vazquez would be donating all proceeds from any of her books sold during this event to Willow Creek Library. The proceeds would go to maintaining the new building along with purchasing more books and media. She then went on to express a thank you for all the hard work the towns committee did to get this new building which now offers on the second floor a new computer room, movie room, Game room and Chess Room. The computers were donated from Landgrabb Industries and are state of the art. Landgrabb Industries will also be providing the internet services for the next hundred years as well.
The Willow Creek Library will be open from 9am to 9pm daily and hold two movies a day in their new movie room. They will provide free soda and popcorn to all that attend. The first movie will be at noon and be a children’s movie the other at 3pm which will vary in title. In addition to the movies each Saturday they will hold a chess tournament and a card tournament. The winners will get one year free membership to the Art Museum as well as their name on a winner’s plague that will be up on the second floor.
On the first floor there is a children’s room, the main library and a garden area where people can enjoy the outside to read and relax. In addition to that it also hold the new event room where Ms Crumplebotoom told me that anyone that wished to reserve the room for an event just need to contact her for more information. The only stipulation is if you are selling anything that the event has to be non-profit or proceeds donated to the library. I was also informed the new event room would also be used for classes such as gardening, painting, and writing to name a few when it is not reserved for an event. I urge people to come and take a look for themselves this library offers a vast array of things to do in addition to all the books they have for people to enjoy. I even left with few books I checked out to read on my breaks.

I do apologize for not posting a round three entry; I unfortunately have just been too busy with work and unable to dedicate spare time to the sims / writing. This was a very fun contest though in any event and I enjoyed participating in rounds 1 & 2.
Good Luck to everyone else still participating!

Sims, like life, is very unpredictable. One minute you're eating four day old pizza, and then the repo-man steals your only sofa and you're in tears. ...then the food poison kicks in.

Round 3 scores will be up today! Sorry, between MTS being down for a day-ish and my internet being down for another day-ish, I'm behind again.
And they're here
Only two comments this time as well, though these are from me and one of the other judges. I figured you'd all rather have scores now with less comments than wait So here they are.
A slow start to the story, it got more interesting towards the middle. Some of your sentences could do with being restructured. The advert is funny
Nice article. The picture looks much like one that would be in a newspaper. It reminds me of pictures in our paper at county fair time.
Well written story. Love the last line. Good picture and advert.
Good way to incorporate the mythical creature prompt
Great beginning and end, I got a bit lost in the middle. I really like the picture and advert.
Two Dons? That's just too much suaveness in one room
Great story, enjoyable to read. And love all the references to sim characters Love the picture too. The advert is a little distorted though.
Very nice article. Good use of many classic TS2 sims
Interesting, creative story. Great to read about the sim characters
Nice story. The pic is a bit small however.
Well-written story that had me engrossed to the end! Now I want to know who the mystery caller was! Popping a line space in between the paragraphs would help with the presentation and make it easier to read. I like both of the pictures but there is no contact information with the advert.
Good story, but some line spacing would have made the presentation better.
Well-written story. I preferred the advert image to the picture
Nice story. The pic is a little dark and a tad crunchy.
Interesting story
Good story. Nicely set up pic.)
What a great start to this story, such a pity you didn't have time to complete it, but thank you for posting what you did have time for
Shame you weren't able to really finish your article. The Thousand Year Door is one of my most favorite games EVER, but the pic could have had some sims in it, looking at the art .
Love the story, so well-written. Very descriptive writing.
A very creative, well written article with a great pic!
Great reviews. Be careful with your grammar. I like your pictures but the advert has no contact info on it
Nice article, though it could do with some line spacing.

Here's my round 4 article.
Prompt 1: Home Decor Ideas (new home styles)
Prompt 2: In The Past (of 100 years ago, from the article's publication)
Word Count: 866 words (excluding headlines)
An old relic from Sim City's past arrives in town to be restored and reconstructed, pieces at a time, as part of a decade long search for leftovers of the big city's snootier past. Do current residence appreciate this house being placed near them, or does it remind them of nothing more than dusty furniture?
The Onderdonk House, a home commissioned for construction by wealthy judicial mediator Oliver Taylor Onderdonk, was erected almost a century ago in a small farming sector. It was one of the first wealthy class structures erected in the region to spawn many other homes to the upper class citizens. This home helped to introduce a variety of new designs to promote the region's development over the simple square boxed wooden clapboard facades that surrounded the farming sector.
Current resident of the farming sector Nolan Crumplebottom, 88-year old half-cousin of the infamous Mrs. Crumplebottom, says his father was one of the architects responsible for the construction of the home. His father's vision of new and imported furniture and design helped shape the 'backward' looking farmlands into a 'forward' looking destination for the higher class of citizens.
One of the rarities found in upper class homes that typical farming family houses did not have were twin, or double, beds. "Ordinary homes had single beds for everyone, including the husband and wife," says Mr. Crumplebottom, recalling what his father told him when he was a young adult. "They never slept together, it was considered risqué and dirty." The farming community didn't think it was moral to share a bed every night.
Another interesting feature that appeared in early upper class homes were refrigeration units for meats and dairy products. The farming community used ice boxes to store their food, but after a few years, they began to take notice and purchase fridges for themselves too. Soon after, the farming community realized that they needed more electricity, and thus higher bills were being charged to them, causing the price of food to go up.
A new invention that was also brought to the region, especially with the Onderdonk House, was the toilet bowl. The farming community used outhouses to do their business, and every night would use the waste produced for fertilizer. Upper class citizens did their business on toilets that lead to underground septic tanks to be emptied each month by their servicemen.
Warm and thick velvet curtains and dark patterned carpeting were the norm with upper class homes, and that was no exception to those developed in the farming sector. Ordinary homes had either shutter blinds, or no coverings at all. The farmers and their families felt they had nothing to hide.
The Onderdonk House, along with a few other homes in rural regions of Sim City, was featured a few months later in a magazine article about new home designs arriving, and how those new concepts changed the way regional families lived for the better.
“My father was pleased with the elegant designs brought into the home, even though the farming community at the time didn’t approve,” says Mr. Crumplebottom. “He guessed that everyone there were too conservative, which explained why designs were simple and plain.”
Currently, many furniture pieces from the Onderdonk House were either taken away from its multiple owners, were loss, or destroyed. Other homes in the region, built a few years later from the Onderdonk House, stand in better condition. The house is rotting due to weather erosion. Another factor was the occasional unrest that occurred between the first family and its neighbors in the region at the time.
"The first family to live there were very nice people, even thought they had different tastes," recalls Mr. Crumplebottom from his father's accounts, "However, the main problem occurred a few years after the home was built. Judge Oliver ruled in favor of a business who wanted to introduce chemical fertilizers for farms. The farmers protested in front of the judge's home shortly after the ruling, and the home started to deteriorate."
Local newspaper reports claim citizens caused vandalism towards the house and fire almost occurred when a mystery bag was set aflame and left on the steps of the home, near a roll of newspapers. The judge made attempts to appease the public to stop them from ruining his property, but to no avail. Mr. Crumplebottom's father believes the judge went to live in a different sector of Sim City after the debacle.
The house, along with a few other buildings of the period, is set to become a tourist destination once settled near the National Museum of City Designs' large outdoor exhibition of century's past. For now, the government isn't concerned about any backlash that could occur from the house's presence at the museum. Some local residence are not pleased about the house becoming a historical piece, claiming that it may bring disturbances to the area, such as protestors or mischievous people who want to tear down the place.
“Only time will tell how public reaction will be about the house once it’s put back together, and up for display,” says the museum’s chief operator. “We’ll provide all necessary measures to ensure a secure visit to the exhibition.”

Prompts:
Prompt 1: Home Décor Ideas with a dash of 'decor hacks'
Prompt 2: At the Trailer Park
Article Word Count: 856
A sim doesn’t need a mansion to live a spacious or elegant life. Sometimes they don’t even need a house. Sometimes a trailer is enough, and when decorated and organized in a certain way can make the occupant feel like they are living in luxury.
Decorating on a budget is a challenge. Having enough space in a trailer can be an even bigger one. Many items are too pricy for those who have a monthly rate to pay.
Decorative crates can be used in place of shelves. Crates can hold anything a shelf can and when turned on its side, a crate can also display any items you would on a shelf. Crates can also be a handy way to organize belongings in small spaces. Crates cost and average of 10-20 simoleons at your local general store or even less if you can snag a few from the farmer's market.
Do your walls lack art? Instead of trying to compete with others to get a deal at an auction or pay for an overpriced canvas, try post cards! Post cards come in thousands of designs and can be hung on a wire attached to bolts on the wall. Postcards can also be picked up anywhere between a bookstore and a news stand for 1-5 simoleons a pop!
Spruce up your dining table with a regular cloth from a fabrics store. A 3 x 3 cloth can cover a two-sim table and be a fancy accessory to a romantic dinner.
Plants can also liven up the room, they are great for looks and literally gives one a breath of fresh air. A potted plant that hangs from the ceiling or wall is just the type of item that can freshen up the place and leave room to spare. Potted plants are also a bargain, just contact your local garden club for a quote. Prices usually run under 25 Simoleons.
Lastly, make sure that you are decorating cohesively with your home. If the walls don’t match your decorations, hang a curtain to cover it, not only will you get a luxurious feeling out of it, but the right color can match the rest of your decorating accessories.
I visited the Sauna Grove Trailer Park in Pandora, the inland desert of the Sothern Kashmire Region. The lot consisted of three trailers and each varied on the interior design. However one trend appeared across all three and that there was an overall ‘lack’ of design.
Lorenna Bishop lives in trailer 1. Her home was absent of clutter but had a bunch of clashing colors. Her green striped wall paper didn’t suit the neon-colored items she was displaying or patterned the art on her walls. Her styles were mixed up and ultimately clashed – from country and urban, mod and first empire.
“I collect knick-knacks and show them off but Miss Mills was right in saying they made the place look viably disheveled. She picked out a handful that went well with the colors in the room and I have to say I am pleased with how it looks. It’s more calming this way with the curtains on the walls that calm all the color behind it,” Lorenna admitted.
Janey and Guy Wrightly live in trailer 2 and it was a mess. Items were everywhere and taking up space they could otherwise use to move around in. Using some of the suggestions at the top of this article, they were able to organize their clutter into a savvy and chic look that can displace someone entering what they think is a trailer.
“We’re very grateful that Miss Mills to take time and guide us in sprucing up our place. We recently had a few friends over after she visited and they were stunned at how much cleaner everything looked thanks to the new storage system." Not only were the Wrightly’s impressed but also the Hutches, who rented the most challenging trailer in the park interior-wise and the last trailer on the lot.
They, a family of five, going on six, had barely any space to live in!
Randy Hutch had a wooden bathtub in his small yard in order to wash the family dog. On the inside, toys, records, and clothes were strewn about because Pammy Hutch, his wife, is expecting their fourth child and doesn’t have enough energy to clean thoroughly.
“Miss Mills came in and threw everything into crates. It cleared the rooms up mighty fine.” Mrs. Hutch explained. “Then the crates were stacked in a nice order that added to the room but left so much space still. She put a table cloth on the table, and hung some cute little post cards on the walls, and a plant from the ceiling and suddenly I felt I was living in a real house-type place instead of a two-room trailer.”
Just remember to decorate with perspective and space in mind and any trailer could feel like a new home!

Here is my article:
Three mad scientists from Strangetown have just dropped a bombshell. According to the Curious brothers, the answer to every question in the universe is not 42 – it is orange! Their opinion is based on scientific research they have conducted for the past seven years.
Science has always influenced interior decorating. The first colour wheel was put together by a scientist. We also know today that we have to protect the environment when we build, heat and decorate our homes.
“Our home is full of alien children,” Pascal Curious told the Sim Weekly. “We observed them like normal parents at first. Then Vidcund bought a number of orange toys and it soon became clear that all of our kids prefer orange to any other colour.”
“We started looking at this preference in a scientific way,” Vidcund said. “We know our alien children have superior intelligence. Conducting careful research revealed that orange is the new 42. Almost everybody in Strangetown has helped us. We were able to raise the intelligence of the average child with up to 4 points!”
“We have even succeeded to raise the intelligence of a truly idiotic kid by one point,” Pascal added.
At first the brothers were not sure how to use this new knowledge. Then Vidcund decided to start a business. He studied Interior Design for a couple of nights and found an experienced decorator to manage his business.
“Decorating with orange is easy,” according to Vidcund. “It is not a primary colour, and it has thousands of shades. You can use it with adjacent colours on the colour wheel; with shades of its contrast colour, which is blue, with earthy colours and with boring colours like white, cream, grey and beige.” He added that orange only has to be one of the important colours in a room. “Even if you just add a huge rug for kids to play on, it will raise their intelligence points.”
The Sim Weekly decided to conduct our own research. We found a number of families and offered to redecorate their children’s rooms, using orange. As you can see in our photographs, orange works! Twins Kelly and Kevin Picaso took their new room immediately. Young Kevin was soon reading a book! They chose an alien theme to go with the orange, and seem to be happy with their new surroundings.
Marion Gavigan thought jumping on her new bed was the way to go. She said she liked it. “It looks happy. Not boring, like the room used to be.”
The elder Gieke twins also loved their new room. Caroline especially loves the orange desk. Catherine, who is apparently the quiet one, kept on smiling.
The younger Gieke twins have a tiny nursery. Being adventurous, we combined orange and pink after finding striped wallpaper at the Landgraab Hardware Store. They sat in their new cribs, singing nursery rhymes.
Chester and Abby Gieke told us that they were immediately going to tile the kitchen, replacing the current grey tiles with orange ones. “I’ve seen this lovely orange sofa,” Abby said. “And a rug too! We could just as well redecorate the whole house now. I think I am going to do so some shopping right now to see what else I can find!”
For our team, finding items to decorate with was the most challenging. We pointed this out to the Curious brothers. “It is a problem,” Pascal said. “We have been making orange plastic test tubes, gyroscopes, engineering kits and other toys ourselves. Lazlo is building a bright orange robot. We need to contact creators all over the universe to help us.”
Vidcund has compiled a list of names. “Famous creators, like Michelle, who at least gave us some Ikea items in orange, will be approached to assist us. We are considering to ask Leefish to make us some orange toys and Klaartjie and Karen Lorraine to make more orange bedding. And wallpaper too. My manager is busy with the written requests. “I want to ask local artists to add more orange to their paintings. Especially if they paint for kids’ rooms.”
We decided to ask the community what their opinion on the new 42 was. Master chef Sebastian Cooke shrugged. “I could have told you that. My greatest dishes were created in orange kitchens. And why do you think my restaurant has orange chairs and tablecloths?”
Sanjay Junior Ramaswami frowned. “I am an upcoming rock star. Maybe I could write better music if there is orange in my jamming studio? Will it go with black? Perhaps as close a shade to red as possible...”
“I will import brands of orange furniture, curtains, carpets and bedding immediately,” Malcolm Landgraab said. “I have to remember the scatter cushions. For some reason, every time a new trend starts, clients are first asking for scatter cushions.”
“Well, I have always loved orange flowers,” the Chair of the Garden Club said. “And my wife likes to put orange flowers all over our house, so I guess we’re good.”
Since it seems that orange might be the new 42, we will discuss orange flowers and plants for your big, medium or small garden in our next edition.

Here´s my somewhat late round 4 entry. Tried to do a recipe first, but that was overwhelming, so here goes one last minute attempt an Plan B.

Headline:
Grow your own food – Steak and Beaf
Instead of the usual pictures of flower arrangements and tips on how save your salad harvest from the snails, today we bring you a piece of history. You may read it for your entertainment alone or let it inspire you to try out something new. Though when I write “new“, I actually refer to something old, to lore of ages gone by, that is only slowly resurfacing in present times.
We all are aware of how large cattle herds contribute to global warming by their methane output. And many of us are concerned about slaughter animals – if not about their living conditions, then at least about the food our food consumed in it´s lifetime. Some may opt to go vegetarian, or even vegan, but to many the taste of meat-substitutes like soy and tofu isn´t appealing. How fortunate that everyone can grow their own meat in the garden now.
Read on and learn how!
It all begins with the diary of Sir Edward Dregg that was recently re-discovered on the main island of the Twikkii Islandnations:
5/12/1643
Bad week. Crew is sober for days, never a good thing. That newfangled kill-devil*stuff is strong, but I underestimated my men´s tolerance for it. So now we´ve run out of that stuff.
5/13/1643
I fear the worst. Even my officers are eyeing me weirdly now. The men talk about replenishing their supplies…
5/20/1643
Them bloody bastards! Sold me into slavery in exchange for more of the kill-devil drink!
Ah, they were clever, that much I have to give them. Collected the bounty on my head and then bought – yes, actually PURCHASED – barrels upon barrels of their new vice.
But where does that leave me? Chained to desk, to live out my remaining days writing down my adventures. That judge turned out quite the fan of my life´s work. But, alas, we have something in common: he knows no mercy, either. Soon as I´m done with my writing, it´ll be the gallows for me.
5/28/1643
The way I see it, the more adventures I can provide, the longer I live. Shouldn´t be too hard coming up with more, should it? I may yet grow old and fat on government funds…
7/18/1643
This is it. The end. When the sun rises next they´ll come for me. My last story was deemed too outraeous and they are going to hang me. But I swear to the good lord that it contains the truth and only the truth!
…
In case those oafs dare destroy the tale, I´ll repeat it here. They promised to deliver this diary to my only daughter after my death and I trust their word. So this is how I, the dread pirate and “enemy of humankind“ spend my final hours: bowed over a wooden desk, scribbling in the name of truth in the light of a flickering candle, a symbol of my soon to burn down life. That just has to account for something up there in heaven!
Back then we didn´t set out to make a great discovery or anything like that. No, we were shipwrecked and glad to have escaped with our naked life. We thanked the devil for making our hearts black enough that heaven didn´t want us yet, and then went to explore the shore fate had stranded us on. Fishing was plentiful, so we would not starve, but much to our dismay we found a large thorny thicket blocking our way further inland. It was infuriating! We had stranded somewhere on the Spanish Main and the next town might be just a few hours of forced march away, but we could not cross that blasted thicket!
My men did not care. They were hungry and exhausted and waiting for a fish to bite while dozing on the warm sand was all the “work“ they were willing to do.
Only when we heard a cow bloke in the distance, the others agreed to put some effort into tearing down the briarbushes. Because cows meant a village and a village meant women. It was really simple as that.
Only – there was no cow anywhere. Instead, after going deeper into the jungle, Pegleg Sam cried out from sheer joy, when he beheld a glazed cake that somebody had left lying on a tree branch. He cried again after he had grabbed it, this time in panic. For the branch had come to life! On closer inspection it turned out a vine and it was trying to reel in his victim.
Sam could not let go. His hand was glued to the thing he had taken for a cake. But I drew my saber and severed the vine. Sam gasped, then gave me a blank stare and at last bit heartily into the cake that was still attached to his fingers by some sticky substance. Moments later he spit it out in disgust:
“That´s no cake, that´s some kind of fruit!“
Indeed just like a breadfruit or sausage tree fruit the cakelike thing was nothing other than some plant´s fruit. It tasted like apple, with the difference that plucking this particular kind of apple was hazardous.
You know how one says “I do not want to know where that came from?“ But of course after having said that, one turns around and looks anyway. So did we, and imagine our shock when we looked right into the eyes of our “cow“! Yes, there was a uge cow´s head looking down on us through the trees. From it´s maw a tonguelike vine protruded and it danced gently on a sturdy stalk. And just like real cows, these “cowplants“, too, came in herds. We saw another not far away and witnessed it swallowing a bird that had landed on it´s cake whole.
Some plants are like this, they catch insects to satisfy their appetite. Would YOU want to live on water and sunshine only? See!
And the larger a plant, the larger it´s prey, naturally.
We learned to co-exist, the cowplants and us. When we had a ship again, I made sure to take some seedlings with us. The fearsome shout of our cowplants helped a lot during battles.
When a sailor or prisoner gave me sass, I fed him to my cowplant. Good times!
On top of that the steady supply of cake-fruit kept my sailors healthy and strong.
Even better, on the smallest patch of soil imaginable we had our own private cow herd.
For the bulbous bloom, the „head“, was edible, too. It tasted… no, not like chicken (except if they have some real weird chickens where you live). In fact, it tasted like the tenderest steak you´ve ever eaten. But it was all vegetable.
I must confess, I never got around to eat a cowplant that had had a human victim recently. It just didn´t feel right**.
And now that this secret has been re-discovered, you, dear garden friend, can partake in a meal of cowplant, too. You can grab a bag of seeds to get you started at the nearest garden center. But, psst, they may only be for purchase on every April 1st!
*…later known as „rum“
**… Really do not eat anything from a cowplant that has consumed a human within the last 24 hours! Prion disease is a real threat!

For my Round 4 entry, I decided to make an article-length ad.
Prompt 1: Going Green
Prompt 2: Bella Goth
Game used: TS4
The Darkdusk Legacy has ended. Read the whole thing!
The Nightmagic Legacy has ended. Read the whole thing!
Last of Her Kind has ended thanks to a dead computer.
Prompt 1: Going Green
Prompt 2: Bella Goth
Game used: TS4
Are you sick of your old computer always crashing and giving you the Blue Screen of Death? Do you want to just throw that hunk of junk in the trash? There’s a better way! Call CGY Recycling today and we will take your old, broken, or otherwise unwanted computer away to be recycled free of charge!
Old computers, TVs, and other electronics contain hazardous materials such as lead and mercury. These materials, if disposed of in a landfill or burned in an incinerator, can leach into the environment. In order to stop these hazardous materials from leaching into the environment, the electronics must be properly recycled. CGY Recycling has been a market leader in the recycling of electronic waste since 2000, and is the only recycling company that, instead of shipping its electronic waste to places such as Barnacle Bay or Midnight Hollow, recycles all of the waste right here in SimNation, using a state-of-the-art recycling facility in Oasis Springs. There, we separate the device into its component parts and recycle them. Every single part of the device is recycled; nothing is thrown in the trash.
Our customers agree that CGY Recycling is a great value and a great way to get rid of old, broken, and unwanted computers. One of them, Bella Goth has agreed to speak to us about her experience with CGY Recycling.
“I had just bought a new computer, so of course I needed to get rid of the old one. I called CGY Recycling and the old computer was gone the next day! It is nice to know that it will be recycled right here in SimNation instead of being shipped to a developing country for disassembly. I would highly recommend CGY Recycling to anyone that needs to get rid of an old computer!”
CGY Recycling doesn’t just recycle computers. We also recycle TVs, stereos, and all other electronic items. Just as with computers, we pick these items up free of charge and take them to our recycling facility in Oasis Springs.
Other customers of CGY Recycling are also sharing their stories:
“I turned on the old tube TV and it started to smoke. We have a strict no-smoking policy in our household, so that TV had to go. I called CGY Recycling and they removed that TV quickly and painlessly. Thanks, CGY Recycling!”
“My Maxoid Game Simulator broke on me, so I called CGY Recycling. They took that overheating piece of junk away, leaving room for me to buy the next version.”
“I was about to haul my broken stereo to the dump myself. Then a friend told me about CGY Recycling. I called them and they picked it up, recycled it, and kept it out of the landfills!”
“I dropped my phone, and the screen shattered. I called CGY Recycling and they picked it up and took it away. Now I have a brand new HoloPhone, and if I had to pay to take my old phone to the dump, I wouldn’t have been able to afford it!”
"I'm a big fan of rhythm games, but my cat ruined my dance mat. I was about to toss the mat in the trash, but then I remembered CGY Recycling. I called them and found that, yes, they take dance mats, and they were willing to take mine despite the cat damage. Now I have a new dance mat, and I keep it far away from the cat.”
“I was using my old Moneywell computer when it finally decided to give up the ghost. I called CGY Recycling and they took it away the next day! Thanks, CGY Recycling!”
Under the new SimNation electronic waste control law, disposal facilities are required to charge a fee to accept electronic waste. CGY Recycling is not a disposal facility, and we do not charge any kind of fees whatsoever to you for picking up your electronic waste. In fact, you can even get a credit on your SimNation tax bill for recycling your old electronics through CGY Recycling!
For the next week only, residents of Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, and Magnolia Promenade can get priority pickup of their old, broken, or unwanted computers, TVs, or other electronics by calling CGY Recycling and mentioning offer code TS4GTR. Residents of Sunset Valley, Twinbrook, Bridgeport, Appaloosa Plains, and Starlight Shores can get priority pickup by mentioning offer code TS3RA, and residents of Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville, Riverblossom Hills, Desiderata Valley, and Belladonna Cove can get priority pickup by mentioning offer code TS2OFR.
Contact CGY Recycling today for all of your electronics recycling needs! Don’t dump it; recycle it!

Round 4
Round 4Prompt 1: Garden Ideas
Prompt 2: Outer space
Word Count: 887
Caption: Dr Kii-Tee in her Magic Jelly Bean Bush garden
Headline: Moo-ve Over Cow Plant there’s a New Pest Control in Town
What is more appealing cake or candy? That is the question researcher and avid gardener, Dr. Kii-Tee Gon Su Kii-Tee, has looked into for the past three years. Now, she believes she has an answer that may be a fast solution to the growing pest problem for all of the planets of Bramma Galaxy.
For 35 years, the Bramma Galaxy has been dealing with an infestation of simlings also known as sims. As the alien species have abandoned their home planet to find places that look like their imaginative movies so they could pretend to be heroes, they have begun settling on four of the five planets of the Bramma Galaxy. This strange species with their body odors and barbaric eating habits have caused an intergalactic crisis.
“Most species in the Bramma Galaxy reproduce on average at about every ten years.” Dr Kii-Tee said. “Simlings, however, can breed every season sometimes with multiple offspring. They even engage in what they call a 100 baby challenge where a female will give birth to one hundred young! It is insane.”
Besides, the explosion in population, simlings are also seen as just plain gross to most of the planets’ species.
“Simlings get sweaty and emit a foul odor,” Dr Kii-Tee explained. “They dig through and eat our trash of fruits and vegetables, calling our landfills ‘gardens’. Wherever there’s fruity garbage sure enough you’ll find a stinky sim.”
Sims upset the delicious food of the Bramma Galaxy planets-- like dirt, worms, weeds, and rocks-- by spoiling them with their disgusting “gardens”. For over a decade, Bramma citizens have fought back by cultivating the Laganaphyllis Simnovorii also known as the cow plant.
“Laganaphyllis Simnovorii has been domesticated as a pet in many Bramma homes,” Dr Kii-Tee said. “Learning that the weird cake substance that it offers is a magnet for sims was an unforeseen miracle.”
Indeed, many a sim who dares trespass on Bramma property has been consumed whole by the cow plant. Despite its success in deposing of sims, many still remain.
“Part of the problem is that Laganaphyllis Simnovorii can only eat one sim at a time. If you only have one plant on your property but several sims, well, you see the issue.” She said.
At first, Dr Kii-Tee was only trying to improve the cow plant. Multiple heads took care of multiple sims, but the plants were stationary and word has been spreading in sim communities to resist the cake at all costs. So Dr Kii-Tee took a different approach.
“After doing research on their home planet, I discovered that besides cake and pie, sims love candy. That’s when I set about creating a new death trap. The Magic Jelly Bean Bush.”
The Magic Jelly Bean Bush grows in an assortment of vivid colors that are sure to catch the eye of a passing sim. From their branches grow clusters of jelly beans. When they are ripe, the jelly bean are sweet and chewy.
“The great thing about the Magic Jelly Bean Bush is that it makes sims feel good, raising their moodlets,” Dr Kii-Tee said. “But it also can lead to death. The more they eat them the higher their chances of death become. Not only that, but the jelly beans can be shared simultaneously putting many sims at risk of dying all at once. It’s brilliant if I say so myself… and I do.”
There is only one down side to the Magic Jelly Bean Bush: you must plant a garden.
“Garden’s are only bad when they’re filled with nasty things like green beans and apples.” Dr Kii-Tee said. “One of Bramma’s best defenses against sims is to create our own gardens filled with things we like. Imagine a garden with piles of manure with yummy maggots crawling through them. Rows and rows of scrumptious rocks and Magic Jelly Bean Bushes to add a touch of color. My mouth waters just thinking about it.”
Dr Kii-Tee stressed that, like cow plants, Magic Jelly Bean Bushes are not harmful to Bramma species and are quite good in a fungus stew. They are all science and are only called magic because they "magically" take care of the pest problem. She has grown her own massive garden complete with the colorful bushes and has even gotten her neighbors to join in the endeavor.
“It’s very satisfying to have a fresh crop in your own yard,” said one of Dr Kii-Tee’s neighbors. “Even more so knowing that I am doing my part in the fight against pesky sims with the jelly bean bushes.”
But not everyone shares in the neighborhood’s joy.
The organization Bramma Against Cruelty to Sims (BACS) has been protesting Dr Kii-Tee’s jelly bean bushes.
“When will it stop?” BACS president, Eomu, said. “Are we going to build doorless walls around sims and let them starve? Will we trap them in a fire or drown them? We will continue to petition the Intergalactic Council on this issue. We must save the sims!”
According to Dr Kii-Tee these new fangled gardens are merely giving both sims and Bramma citizens what they want.
“Sims have gardens and now we have gardens,” she said. “If sims stay out of our gardens they have nothing to worry about.”
Magic Jelly Bean Bushes are set to go on sell throughout the Bramma Galaxy on Rocday.

Headline: Sim in the Spotlight: Momma Jo's "Life Hacks"
Where: At the Trailer Park
What: List of Life Hacks
782 Words
Momma Jo is known as a cheapskate by most in her cozy trailer park community. She saves every single simolean that she can and spends as little as possible. Most of the time, you might see Momma Jo scouring the street early in the morning for abandoned newspapers and searching the trash cans for coupons and whatever else she can scavenge. She grew up following her grandmother’s and mother’s way of life, which she calls it “simple and cheap”. We found her rummaging through trash cans (by neighbor consent of course) and she showed us a clock she found that still worked, but just needed the batteries replaced. Trash can rummaging may not be your cup of tea, but we can learn a thing or two from Momma Jo as she shares her secrets to living a cheapskate life. Momma Jo has agreed to share a few useful “life hacks” that she has followed throughout her years to help her save simoleans.
Tip #1: Momma Jo will never leave the house without her 2lb coupon book. The employees at Kwikie Mart always greet Momma with a smile and she walks out with 100’s of simoleans worth of groceries and save up to 90%. “Even if ya use a few coupons and save a few simoleans, it’ll make a difference” Momma Jo insists. She encourages everyone to take advantage of store coupons.
Tip #2: In her younger years, Momma Jo used to be active and work out on a regular basis. Now her work outs include a walk around the park once or twice. She insists that you don’t need to spend a bunch of money in order to stay in shape. “Ya’ll don’t need DVD’s or gym memberships. Television and internet offer them workout videos ya need. Also walkin’ in parks, around town, or ya neighborhood will do the trick” she says. Rich Square and Glenbrook are great places to walk. Glenbrook offers shops to stop and visit down the main strip and Rich Square offers unique green spaces throughout the town for you to visit.
Tip #3: Momma Jo hasn’t bought herself new clothes in over 20 years. Almost everything she owns has come from friends, neighbors or the trash. Momma Jo insists sims spend too much on clothes at the stores in Glenbrook. She asks that friends should try exchanging clothes instead of trashing them or donate them to someone in need. She also notes that garage sales are great ways to find unique clothes for a great price for those that are into the trending vintage style.
Tip #4: Auctions and garage sales are very common in St. Augusta and Ravenswood. They are great places to find one of a kind furniture. Momma Jo has gotten all her furniture from auctions over the years. She encourages sims with creativity to even upcycle furniture and give it new life. “Takin’ a dresser ya paid 5 simloeans for and paintin’ it and changin’ the knobs can make it look quite different” she says based on past experience.
Tip #5: According to a recent survey, it was found that the average sim in our area eats out about 2 times a week. “I might go out like once or twice every few months dependin’ on what’s goin’on” says Momma Jo. She encourages sims to eat in more and spend more time with family around the dinner table. Making bigger meals will leave leftovers for sims to eat later and save on cooking. This is where the couponing most likely comes in handy.
Tip #6: The last and final tip focuses on vacationing. It’s not likely that gas prices or airplane tickets are going to get any cheaper. We asked Momma Jo her opinion on this subject and she had a very interesting answer. She hasn’t really traveled since she was little when the gas prices were super cheap. She has done some traveling around the local area to Glenbrook, Rich Square and St. Augusta. She believes sims should take some time to vacation locally. For instance, go to the park for the day and have a picnic or spend the day at the King Konga Amusement Park during discount days. Check out local shops in Glenbrook and art studios in Rich Square. She says it can sometimes be free or cheap enough to not break the piggy bank.
Momma Jo understands her lifestyle is not for every sim, but she believes that being conscious of one’s bank account can help improve financial worries in the future. She hopes these hacks will help lead sims to stress free finance and we were glad for the opportunity to talk with her. After the interview, Momma Jo hopes to start up a blog to share tips for sims on money and living, though she insists she will have to manage it at the local library or where ever she can get internet.

Nina’s Idea Corner: Tips & Tricks for Small Spaces & Rooms
Written by: Nina Caliente
This week’s feature is all about fresh new looks for smaller spaces and rooms. We start with a small bedroom that would be used for two young boys whose parents said they loved pirates. My idea was to make the room look like the cabin of a pirate ship. The project took me less than a week costing the home owner only three hundred and fifty simoleons. I was able to use the bunk beds the boys slept in which allowed me to have more budget to get the wood for the walls and flooring, the porthole window and the other furniture and decor I needed.
I started by shopping for supplies at Pete’s Discount Lumber Warehouse where I was able to find not only the lumber for the walls and floors but snagged a discounted window that resembled a porthole for a ship. The next place I went to was Auntie Rose’s collectables in which I found the furniture I needed along with the shelving, lanterns, and other miscellaneous items. Auntie Rose Collectables is like a flea market you never know what you will find but, you always will find a bargain.
Once back at the home owners with all the materials I needed, my team got to work to create an amazing room for two small boys. First day we cut the lumber to fit the walls and floors then we had to stain it. The second day we refurbished the items we purchased from Auntie Rose’s Collectables and the bunk beds. This allowed the stain on the lumber to dry so that the next day while the furniture’s stain dried we could put up the lumber on the walls, floors, a small wall and the new window. The last day we spent decorating with furniture and other items. It took us four days with results not only leaving two happy young boys but two very happy parents that did not have a lot of money to spend.
You do not need to spend a fortune to remodel or decorate there are plenty of places like those I mentioned that sell used, refurbished or second hand items. It pays to shop around especially at your local flea markets and second hand stores. Remember someone’s trash is always someone else’s treasure!
The second project I took on was a small room that needed to have a kitchen and living room. The homeowners wanted an open concept but modern look. The challenge was keeping in budget not the space to work with. My idea was to paint walls black and the trim, windows and doors white to give it a modern sleek look along with using faux tile flooring that resembled black marble for the kitchen and restained the wood flooring in the rest of the room. The living room part was fairly easy for I found some modern looking furniture that was black and light grey almost steel looking and refurbished some shelving to match. The biggest issue was making the kitchen and eating area to fit in to the rest of the room without looking cluttered or closed in. I refurbished the cabinets and counter tops to save the budget so we could purchase new appliances. To make it all work I replaced the normal dining table and chairs for two bar stools and a small counter bar that would serve not only as a place to eat but to divide the kitchen from the living space and yet tie it all in. To keep the space open concept the use of low modern looking fencing divided the space. All this with modern decor gave the space the modern look without spending a fortune.
Here are some simple tips for decorating on a budget. First write down your budget then make a plan of what you want then make a list of items you will need to make the space look like your plan. If your budget is low then consider the following tips: For lumber, Paint, windows, doors, flooring and other hardware consider using a discount or secondhand lumber store or warehouse. These places offer new or refurbished and even returned items for major discounts. When shopping for furniture and decor shop around your local antique or second hand stores and flea markets. If you take the time to shop around you can find some real good deals especially if you are willing to refurbish the items yourself. When shopping for paint I suggest looking for cans that customers returned for mismatches you can get some real good deals and in most cases the stores can add color to darken or lighten for free. Hope these tips help to make your next space a success!

The Modern Trailer Park is Stacked and Ready for Shipping
Would you ever want to live in a trailer park? No? Okay, what about a shipping container community that's stacked three stories high? "What?!" I know right!
This week on Current Home Trends we're taking a look at... shipping containers? "But Eva that's not a home!' Girl, please, didn't you know, shipping containers are SO in now that they're taking it to the skies!
Willow Creek Container Community : Welcome to Willow Creek, the home of the modern trailer park, and boy, is it modern, except it doesn't really have any trailers.... The modern trailer park is stacked and ready for shipping, as in, the homes are actually shipping containers. Trust me, I made that same look that you're making right now when I first heard about this as well, but it's actually something that's been trending for a while now but the people of Willow Creek have taken it to a whole notha' seaboard. Dolphins, sharks, and whales oh my! The modern trailer park is stacked, as in, you're literally living on top of someone. The main thing that makes the modern trailer park so awesome is its organic sense of community that it accomplishes with its stacked structure and alternating orientations to each container. Essentially, the idea is to create a pyramid (and no, there is no hierarchy, all containers are created equally); therefore, the average 'community' consists of only 6-8 homes. Because of physics, the larger containers are placed on the lower level, and the sizes work their way down as you go up, usually. In addition to the pyramid fashion, each home is placed on an individual axis to create depth, as well as makeshift rooftop gardens for the house above you, unless you're the top house then you're just a shipping container.
The exteriors of these luxurious “trailers” feature oxygenated casted iron, a brush metal, solar crystals and full height ceiling to floor windows to let in daylight and compliment the modern architecture. In the Willow Creek Container Community, the residents of WCCCC have made an effort provide nostalgia and reminisce on their trailer park roots by decorating the exterior of their homes with modern awnings and flower boxes. The landscaping for these homes is very minimal as there is not much yard space, however, the creative, and fluent land flow of their landscape makes the homes really blend in with environment and further allude their awareness for a greener earth. The homes are also painted to be bright, and colorful to avoid the dull and uniformed look that’s familiar with the traditional trailer park.
Inside, the trailers showcase the optimal use of their bare 2000-3000 sqft. of living space by merging the essentials of a home into one, and using vast space saving techniques. One thing in common with the shipping container home trend, is that storage is abundant . Due to such a small and confined amount of space, it is necessary for potential buyers and residents to be able to have adequate storage, as there is a lack of closets with the typical container home.
Upon entry, onlookers are greeted by the kitchen, and living room. The kitchen features high cupboards, and island/bar style dining as the “dining room” of the house. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room, where shelving surrounds the television and/or stereo to make the most out of the space. Alongside the couches, there are also end tables with more storage options such as simple drawers or near-floor shelving. Beyond the main ‘corridor’ of the home, there’s a feature wall (on which the TV is usually set) and behind that wall is the studio style bedroom, and an enclosed bathroom giving the bedroom a slight ‘L’ shape. Designers of shipping containers are very passionate about reflecting the outside world inside, so often times, a shipping container will be bright colored, feature curated iron paneling resembling the exterior color of the home, and the general walls of the home aside from the feature, are usually a mat neutral color correlated to the overall theme of the home.
The shipping container home only costs twenty-thousand simoleons to construct, five thousand to design, and a varying shipping fee depending on the manufacturer. The shipping container home trend is perfect for any single parents, bachelors, or retired persons who are in the market for a new home and seek low maintenance but a delicate attention to detail, and efficiency. The shipping container home trend is a unique social class of its own, and is destined to make a mark in society. The trend is rapidly spreading across the nation with an average of three hundred homes constructed monthly and for the price tag, it’s easy to see why.
I think I might be looking into one of these now… until next time guys, keep trending!
Apologies for the lateness, the site was down, my car broke down, went to work, just got home, and ugh! This was a great four rounds, good luck to everyone and I really enjoyed participating justJones!

I'm guessing it's due to school exams? Or other more important outside events?
It's fine, real life trumps the Internet any day...unless you're being paid to surf the Internet, lol. Wonder if such a job exists, and how they pay.
It was a fun and interesting contest. I enjoyed going back to writing fictional stories/articles. Haven't done it in a while. It's good for me to know I still have creative ideas that I can make up.
