Is there a way to retrieve Sim names from a Sims 3 save file? I want to recreate some of my Sims 3 families on The Sims 4 but I don't currently have The Sims 3 installed on my PC. It's been awhile since I last played The Sims 3 so I don't remember the names of my sims. I named my save files after the family's last name so I know the last names, I need the first names. I can see what the sims looked like from the snap files inside the nhd file in the save using s3pe. Can I use S3PE to get the names of the sims? I don't know where that would be. I don't want to have to reinstall The Sims 3 and all my packs just to see what the name of my sims are.

They are getting new incarnations. Maybe it is time for some new names for a new start?
