This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Want to purchase vacant land adjacent to my Sims property
How can I purchase vacant land adjacent to a Sims property to increase the size of their property. Can't find Real Estate anywhere??

You can't do that in game. You have to use the lot adjuster. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it on a lot that has sims living on it, though.

A separate lot is just that, separate for another family.

I would move the sims out but I have heard people who haven't. To keep all the furnishings during move out you will need the Simlogical Stay all shrub. http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2P...2_MiscHacks.htm
