I freakin love L from Death Note ♥ I'm going as him for Halloween this year XD My L wig came in the mail yesterday, so I threw together a very quick cosplay with eyeliner and such just so I could take a picture XD The wig wasn't quite on right, and the lighting sucks, but hey... L rocks XD But I look chubby in that picture >.<

I agree about being non-Asian for once. I know being half-Asian isn't that bad, but apparently I'm the most crazy thing since silly bands in a hick, white-dominated community.

For the longest time, I had to answer such intellectual questions like this:

Are you from China? Japan? -- I'm from the town an hour away.
Can you speak English? -- That's how I kind of answered the last question.
Oh! Can you speak Asian for me? -- I can also speak European.
Seriously?! -- No.
So, like, what do you eat? - Rice, tofu, and I'm about to eat your dog unless you leave me alone.

And I'm only half-Korean and I don't even think I fit the average "squinty eyes and flat face" stereotype. I loooovee mid-west America.

My friends would literally gag and go zomfg!!111 every now and then when I told them there were high rise buildings where I came from, and we actually had access to computers, and that we rode motorbikes and not buffaloes, and all that stuff.
