I often use "Influence > Garden" if I have a lot of bushes that need trimming or weeds that need pulling. Also if my sim has low Mechanical skill I'll find someone with high Mechanical skill (using the ask about skills interaction) and influence them to repair broken electronics. I find those both quite useful.

I just remember how I did let my sim influence his wife to hug Bigfoot at their vacation and I expected her do a friendly hug because there wasn't romantic interactions with Bigfoot availabe but instead she jumped into Bigfoot's arms. I got good laugh and angry husband

Yeah, the game blocks you, the player from making sims do romantic interactions with Bigfoot, and also stops sims from choosing to do them autonomously, but those interactions still exist, and there's nothing stopping the game itself from pushing them. And stuff like macrotastics, I believe, also does not necessarily have to check whether the interaction is allowed before pushing it. I've actually recently changed the situations in which sims can talk to plants and I'm sort of curious to see if Macro->Garden will respect those new rules or not.

Yeah I know there are a more differences between TS2 and Castaway than the other stories games, but IIRC Castaway runs on a somewhat modified TS2 Seasons engine. Some other features from Castaway I would have liked to see were the larger neighbourhood and roadless lots, though I suspect due to the fact we can't place new lots in Castaways it's not really that different as I've seen a recreation of Felicity Island for TS2 where roads were removed with the help of LotAdjuster and HoodReplace, now why EAxis couldn't have put the support for larger hoods in later EPs though .

You said you tried sloping the pond for sims to wade in, are they actually able to do that if the slope is right? I would expect them to just walk and not swim, or were you using something else?

I was never able to get the slope right without losing the water and ending up with an empty pond. I'd written a little mod that added the "get in" interaction from the ocean to ponds, but it was useless because changing the slope to match the castaway lake resulted in an empty hole.

We'd need a way to create a gradual slope like in the picture. As far as Castaway is concerned, the shallow end of a pond is land, but once they reach a certain depth, they start swimming.

*Knocks on wood as there might already be a mod that does this*

A mod that allows babies to inherited skills from their parents or grandparents. If would be nice for Dirk Dreamer's children to inherit high creativity skills from their grandfather.

There's no drama, like Sims drama.

A mod that allows you to make non traditional families in CAS. For example, children & teens without parents, like the Newson's

I had that mod for TS3. I made a child all on her own once. She did surprisingly well until I finally got bored.

If it's at all possible, I'd like a mod to make "Spores of Happiness" a little less OP. I see no reason why it should fill hunger at all, tbh. As there do not appear to be any restrictions on when a Plantsim can use it, two (or more) plantsims in a household can simply spam the spores over and over into infinity and no on in the household ever needs to eat, sleep, bathe, or even use the toilet.

A thought I had after Mary-Sue sprinted across a lot to chat to Robert Kim, but I'd like a Celebrity Trait for the whole trait mod thing, which I can give to Sims who reach the top of some careers, or the Kims, or Bella Goth, and other Sims will be more likely to try and greet them and socialise with them, and maybe drop off gifts outside their houses.

I really would like a "no bathroom drinks" mod that much like "no bathroom dishes" disables sims from getting drinks from bathroom sinks.

Today in things that should give hobby enthusiasm:
- School Cheer should give Sports enthusiasm to both participants
- Playing Fetch should give Sports (or Nature?) enthusiasm
- Playing Razzle should give Games enthusiasm

I know it's never going to happen, but I'd kill for Sims 3 lifetime wishes to be implemented for the Sims 2 as well. The other small features like telling babies' gender, pyromania and special part-time jobs I can live without any day, but those special goals like Golden Tongue, Golden Fingers or Gold Digger are just so nice... They might not translate too well to Sims 2, now that I think about it, but almost everyone wishing to get to the top of their career just seems off...

I would really like a hack which would allow the spectral servant that witches can summon to do employee duties on an owned business.

I'm not sure it already exists, but some sort of spell mod that gives evil witches more actually useful spells to make them more appealing to play and perhaps balance them with good witches. I feel good witches should have spells that are good for others maybe at their own expense and evil witches have spells that are good for themselves maybe at others' expense. Making all those reagents for stupid evil spells makes me prefer good or neutral witches just because most of the evil spells aren't very useful for the witch casting them. I'd kind of like to play a power hungry evil witch but their spells really don't cut it, in fact some of the good spells seem more fitting when used for evil purposes.

Just a lurker lurking through... mostly.

Sometimes I'm more interested in Sims than others, so I tend to disappear and reappear at random.

Pandora Sims did extra spells, available in the Booty.

Is there any documentation for that? Like what they do and how they work and all?

Yes, on the actual site. Be warned, it's a NSFW paysite and there are pervy ads that adblock doesn't block.

It looks like you need a separate book and cauldron for these to work? That's disappointing. I had heard of these spells before but thought you could just stick one or two in your game and they'd work like other spells.

So you don't need the extra book and cauldron then? The documentation strongly suggests that you do

Download and install the spell book and cauldron it's recommended you create a folder and name it spells in your downloads folder and put them in there.
Pick which spells to download and install them too in the same place where you installed the book etc.

I have midgethetree's edited versions of those spells, anyway, and I didn't need to install anything else for them to work just fine.

I never downloaded the book and cauldron, and I've used those spells. You'd might as well get MtT's versions, since they're an active modder, and still supporting their work, though.

I was going to get Midge's but unless I misunderstood something, I'd also need to download the catnip plant from PBK and I really don't want to.

Catnip is only required for the Maxis cat familiar summoning spell, and only if you download midgethetree_ witchspellsmod and don't turn off the catnip required feature. The witch spells mod is not required for using my edits of the pandorasims spells.

If you go with my version, remember to read the entire post (including the stuff under the download link behind the keep reading - in retrospect maybe I should've hidden the download link at the very bottom behind the keep reading as well to force people to at least skim all the documentation) for a list of features added to the spells to see which ones affect the pandorasims spells you're interested in and whether you want to turn them off.
