Kizzmon - I already make male hair - my previous hair meshes have all been for males. This is a break from my norm. And I much prefer making male hair in general. Boys need more hair.

Lianne87 - The model sim is named Rebecca. Not sure who she looks like but I love her. Kara is the first name of the sim this hair is intended for, who will be uploaded once I finish her clothing and skin.

To answer how I do it... lots and lots and lots of time, practice, and effort.

I make all my mesh shapes from scratch in Milkshape first, generally starting with flat planes and manipulating them into place until they're about the right shape. Then I fix the texture mapping on those pieces so it's nice and smooth and will take any texture I put on it without distortion.

Then I take the texture map into Photoshop and, using my pen tablet, I paint all the textures by hand. Generally takes at least a day to texture - this one took two as I didn't repeat textures anywhere on the mesh like I have previously. Then I animate it, test everything to make sure it works, and start doing recolours. It generally takes about a week to make a whole hair mesh.

Ooh I love love love the textures HP! They really look like they belong on a sim instead of a RL runway model - yippeeee! The cut is totally cute too - and would look totally cute on boys (maybe trimmed a bit around the ears and neck) - but I'm not gonna request that, nope, because requests are annoying. *nods*

OMG this looks kinda like my hair! Mine's just a teeny bit longer! So using this for my self sim, it's excellently made.

Someone said something about it being like Maxis Made, but it's better! All their good, short hairstyles are hidden under a hat!
