Default no email from subscriptions
I'm not getting emails for things I'm subscribed to. I can't say how long it's been going on. I only noticed because someone said that a mod I had was updated and I didn't get an email. They're not going to spam. Emails are turned on. I had daily subscriptions, switched to instant emails which didn't fix anything, and am now switched back to daily. I did get emails before, and did not changed anything to make them stop.

How long ago did it work and what kind of update was it?  A thread subscription wouldn't be sent if, for example, the creator only changes the files and nothing else.  I've gone back a week in the mail logs and can't see any mention of your email address, thus the system doesn't even think there's anything worthy of a mail, if that makes sense.

I'm not sure how long ago it worked, but it was over 30 days, because that's how long deleted items stay in my bin, and there are none left. I wouldn't expect a notification for just a file update, but I subscribe more for comments. Sometimes a creator will comment that they've updated, and sometimes someone will comment that the mod is broken, and that might tell me which file to remove from my mods folder to fix a broken game. I'm subscribed to 120 threads, so I can't imagine that no one has commented in over a month. For example, in the past 5 days, there have been comments on at least these threads:

As I recall, I turned off the "email update" option for subscribed threads many many years ago.   None of your 126 subscribed threads have that option turned on, nor is there the ability to turn it on.  The idea is that you use the User Control Panel to see when the last comments are, rather than email.  I'm not sure what the emails you got where, but maybe it was something other than a subscription comment mail?
