I thought you could do the lottery at 16... Or maybe that's just the UK. I would have thought you'd be excited about eBay or Drinking at 18?

I'm in the US. We can't get lottery tickets until we're 18 and the drinking age is 21. I can order stuff off Ebay or whatever whenever I like as long as I can pay for it myself.

I'm sorry but TWENTY ONE!!! Sorry but I could not survive that long. I mean pretty much all of Europe and Australia (don't know about anywhere else) it is 18, OUTSIDE the home. In Europe you can drink at home from 13! And the lottery in my country is fairly innocent, half the money earned goes to charity! Any other kind of gambling IS 18. When can you drive?

16 is the usual age for when you can earn a driver's license :/ some times i'm allowed to drink wine during dinner for special occasions.

17 is the minimum age to drive, but you usually don't pass until 18. And ok! I'm allowed wine, but no more than half a glass, same with all alcohol but sangria, where I'm allowed 2 or more glasses.
