No, unfortunately it doesn't come for macs. And I've always been able to download custom sims. This is the first time I've run into this problem.
I have the same problem as a Windows Vista user. (No choice, it came on the new pc I got to replace my old clunky one). I have the same error when I tried to download this sim from Stefan's site. I also got the same error with his Britney. It breaks my heart--this sim and Stefan's Britney are so gorgeous. I have been able to get some of his other celebrities into my game with no problem so I know what I'm missing in not being able to get these beauties.

the pics are great and she does look exactly like her...but i was disapointed when i loaded her in game...her face is very flat, her eyes are not the same nor her hair, and the skin looked very pixelated...it did not live up to what the pictures portrayed :< so i deleted her
