Most console commands are not handled in a tunable manner, so there is no means of doing what you request.

I would suggest reading Post 242 and using a scripting mod to unlock the commands.

hmmm....i'm using an unofficial version of the base game + pets only...(i bought the game before, so...). I tried to install it, but i can't even turn it on. (it says that i have some modification that can cause bugs...blah blah blah, do i want to quit. "no!"; then it says there's some bug & do i want to debug it...if i click yes or no, it crashes.)
is that because i'm on a mac? (macbook pro, osx snow leopard; sims 3 + pets, 10.0.96....)

You are aware that the latest version of this mod is 24 Patches older then Pets, correct ?

There is no possible way you could run it on Patch 1.26 .

May I suggest reading further up in the comments for alternatives.

Do you have an HP? I looked for hours before I found out on some HPs the cheat console is brought up by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C+WIN (windows button)
