Thanks wes, I hope it uses the same lighting as in game lighting, so checking ingame looks wouldn't be so time consuming ^^

Wow, that's a nifty idea! I always did think that Bodyshop was a little bit dark.

Dear god, that's wonderful. I'd always heard the BS lighting was hard-coded and unchangable. I can't believe no one has done it before! Thank you!!

ETA: BTW, it does work fine in Downloads.

How cool! I'm looking forward to trying configuring the body shop lights myself, now!
It looks like it makes things infinitely better-looking in Body Shop. Can't wait to use it! :D

I can't thank you enough! I didn't use to use BS because of the lighting. Now I can see what I make!

EDIT: It works in the Downloads folder too.

I was one of the simmers who beta tested BS before they released the game and we complained already then that the light is BS was too bad. I was so fustrated when Maxis didn't fix that. It's so much extra work to have to start your game over and over again to see what your creations really look like. Thank you very very much for this fix Wes!

Thanks, I really appreciate this. Now I can see my creation in BS.

Mine is Thai Edition. The light seems like what I got in CAS!

Shot from CAS!

Shots from BS --I really like them
Full shot from BS.

Closeup shot from BS.

Now I see BS in a whole new light and I do not need to open CAS! to check for detail again.

Thanks,
