Thanks, just what I need!

QUESTIONS:
1) Do these replace any Maxis stairs or are they additional stairs?
2) Do these use the texture repository method? If I have Maxis stair recolors, will these stairs be recolored too?

Hello.

1. You can put objects under them and sims can use them. I tested this with fridges and couches.
2. They do not replace Maxis stairs, as they have their own guids.
3. They don't use repository method.
4. If you want other models to be converted like these, please post the name of the stairs in this thread.

You put the files in the folder if you're using the scriptorium. Only if you manually edit the original modularstairs.txt file you need to copy the info from the files to it.

Wow! These are awesome!!!! I just hope I copy/paste the text files correctly, I installed one stair a long time ago... hope I remember how!!
The best is that you can actually place things under them that sims can use!!! I hope to see more of these!

Glad to see more of the Maxis stairs with the bottoms removed -- and I hope this means plasticbox is working on something new for upload.

Thanks crocobaura

Fabulous idea! Just the stairs I was looking for. I just hate all the space the maxis stairs take and I ended up using Targas one tile stairs...now I can go back to modular stairs.
THank you so much!

What is the name of the stair to the left with red walls in the background. I have the swedish game with totaly different names on all objects.
Oh, and thanks!
