Thanks for these. I'm not really bothered about the existing lamp colours but am grateful that you have furnished me with the knowledge to correct the ones I do find annoying and the broken ones.

Will you be doing edits of any other EP light?

I know that myself and many others find the Bon Voyage orange Mountain Lights are very annoying, as an example!

Which part exactly do you not understand? If you'd do a "test run" for one of the EPs I have, I could probably help – for all I know the principle is the same in all other EPs as well.

You don't need SimPE, just a text editor.

I have found out how to do it, sorry for all the bother pasticbox!

I have successfully made the BV lights "SoftWhite" instead of "Fire" (the floor lamp and the ceiling lamp!)

This is really good, plasticbox, but I just want to be safe. I've just got a minimal question: do I take the original lighting package out of each respective EP and then install the one you have set up for download, or do I have the two files in the folders? Thanks very much.

Like it says in the OP:
Quote:
Make a backup of the original before you overwrite.
You can't have two of these files at the same time, since they have the same name.

Hate to necro, but; is there another place to get the last 2 downloads? Takes me to a "Bad Gateway" page. Tried to do it myself but windows keeps telling me Access is denied even after I take ownership of the files...

Oh, it seems I deleted my own message. Here we go again, then.

These rock! Before these I was always highly disturbed especially by the BV-tablelamp. "Really?" - Couldn't agree more... I mean come on, what the dilly-o? Green lamp shade, red light - make sense? Not really. Thanks a lot! )

Is this compatible with a lighting mod?
