Sweet! Your "brightened" up my day.LOL.....thank you for this! BTW, I was wondering , I always wanted to have fire that was green or other colors, for my surreal sets....is this hard to do? For campfires, tiki torches, etc?

Pretty flame effect.
edit: I too must applaud the transparent bottom.

Is this functional, like pacotaco's version? Can you roast marshmallows and such?

I think you should put it under both sculptures and lights!

But I LOVE that the bottom of it is transparent- meaning it can be set up in the sand, dirt, grass, whatever. The other fire in-game has dirt as a base, and it just looks stupid in the desert, like someone wet the sand before making the fire!

Not possible, sorry. We can't make *new* effects... Only if you make with texture animation (that is different. Effect - my fire, smell of the food, etc. Text. Animation: see my "gnomes fountains").

Nope! Only decorative. Sorry.

Ye, the BV bonfire have "background". Not too much "placeable", so, i made transparent.

I just realised something else.... You can use moveObjects on to place this below Maylin's Antique Cooking Stove and make it look like it has real fire, especially since this it only decorative you don't have to worry about placement, and or screwing up interactions.

Serena for the win! Great idea! electodj, you may want to suggest that in your main thread.

Yes, this could definitely go in both decor and lights. It's great that it lights up the surroundings, and in a very realistic manner.
