I started playing in the days of Sims 1, and I still miss having a big deal made out of the fact that You Made A Friend, with a big smiling face hanging in the air over the two of you.

I never even owned a Sims 2, but I played my friend's all the time, and I think I agree I think these symbols are cuter. :3

Lovely! I missed the old icons and I still can't seem to get used to the new ones, At times being mostly the same color most of them look the same.
