Definitely adding to my game, but a quick question first... How Fast does this go? The old one boasted a speed of 8, will this one be faster?

Opted not to change out the engine xD It also goes at 8.

One beef I have against this car for a long time is the top is always up. Effectively there is no true convertible car (that sims can drive with the top down), beside that 1 car from Stuff pack which looks like a 1960 relic. Nothing wrong with vintage car, but they really can't fit in every situation. I know FP has a few convertibles, but some of his older cars are questionable in compatibility.

So .... would it be too much to suggest to have a version with the top down?

I work for a living, but I don't necessarily live for a working.
