Gunnar Roque from the Shifting Paradymes house at La Fiesta Tech graduated from college, moved to Belladonna Cove, became a mean warlock, and is fairly high up in the Artist career. He has been in love with Prof. Rain Koulouris since college, and he finally asked him to move in with him. Prof. Rain has 16 friends. He has a relationship score of 100 and pink or red hearts with every single one of them! This is going to get interesting real fast, in a sad way ... Gunnar is a sweetie & doesn't deserve someone who won't return his love.

1. Despite hating each other externally, both Tank and Ripp Grunt wish for each others' qualities.
2. Despite being in relationships with two guys, including a married one, Kaylynn Langerek really wants to settle down and have a family and husband of her own (she also hates cleaning, but what maid doesn't?)
3. Jacob Martin is secretly seeing Jules O'Mackey behind Sandra's back; he only pretended to break it off with her so he could have both
4. Olive really does regret killing people, especially her parents, sister and Lyla Grunt, but she just couldn't stop herself
5. Angela secretly thinks Dustin is not good enough for her, but doesn't want to break it off because it's her way of rebelling

Francis J. Worthington III lives with the constant, nagging feeling that he's done something wrong, everybody else knows, and nobody will tell him. Or possibly that he left the iron on. Six of one, half dozen of the other.

Gunnar Roque took ballet lessons when he was a kid.
Zoe Zimmerman was a nerd in high school.
Jasmine Rea thinks her nose is too big and her butt is too small. Nothing anyone can say can convince her that this is ridiculous.

La Fiesta Tech was Stella Terrano's safety school.

Though he'd never say it, Pollination Tech#9 believes Jill may not be his daughter

General Grunt approves of Buck playing with Jill Smith, but secretly fears her human looks are a facade created by her father, and that under her human mask, she is a terrible mutnt even more hideous than Pollination Tech#9

Though Nervous hates the Beakers, he secretly wants to Woohho with Circe

People think that Allegra hates the sorority "on principle" but the real reason is this: on the first day of 6th grade, Allegra stood up and told the class that she was going to be a supermodel one day. Heather laughed and said if anyone was going to be a supermodel, it was going to be HER. Allegra doesn't tell anyone this because grudges are so passe and she's a little ashamed of her former dream career. Brittany and Tiffany didn't actually do anything to her, but sometimes these things require collateral damage.

Sarah Love is mind-numbingly terrified that she's rushing into things with Matthew.

Considering that in my game, Matthew always wants to woohoo his way through the sorority, Sarah's probably right about that!

Don Lothario worries that people will find out he was part of a terrible short-lived boy band as a teen.

When Malcolm Landgraab's parents died, his grandfather let the staff raise him until he was old enough to run the business. He's doing things differently and staying home with his own son, but even though he loves it, part of him feels like he's not good enough to be called a Landgraab.

Everyone thinks something terrible happened to Bella, but she actually got sick of Pleasantview and skipped town.

Angela is insanely jealous of Lilith's relationship with Dirk, because she wants nothing more than to find a guy she can settle down and start a family with, but knows that it'd never work out like that with Dustin because of his reputation as a criminal.

As much as Bella loved Mortimer, she knew that her 'soulmate' was really Don Lothario. She went to his house on the day of his disappearance to confess her love for him, but then got scared that she'd hurt Mortimer and break her family apart, so she rejected Don's attempts to kiss her, swore him to secrecy and ran away to Strangetown out of shame.

The only reason Don sleeps around is because his mother was neglectful and never gave him the attention and love he needed, so now he seeks approval from women. However, he hates the way he is and wishes he could just have a normal life with a wife and children, but he's terrified of committing himself to a woman in case she hurts him the way he was hurt by his mother's lack of affection.

I have MUCH LOVE for Don! I think he has low self esteem and knows that he is not good 'boyfriend material' and so he sleeps with women and then leaves them or pushes them away before they can hurt him, first. He views himself as broken and not good enough for a real relationship with a good woman, so he doesn't even try. He really did care about Cassandra, but left her when he realized he could never give her everything she deserved.

In the same spirit of the thread, a secret of Don's is that Nina is the one to convince him to leave Cassandra. Not in a malicious way, but the night before his wedding he calls Nina up and invites her over and they end up fooling around. After, Nina tells him he is not doing Cassandra any favors by putting a ring on her finger if he doesn't mean it 100%. The next day, he breaks the marriage off after thinking long and hard about what Nina said--he knows somewhere out there there is a man who would be perfect for Cassandra and she deserves to find him.

Nina's secret: deep down she knows she and Don are probably soul mates and the thought terrifies her.

Nina introduced Don to Cassandra at one of the Goth family Christmas parties. Of course Michael told his wife to have her sister come, and bring a date, and Don was Nina's +1. Cassandra asked Nina if she and Don were together, and Nina, thinking of how open their relationship is and how romantic her niece is, and not wanting Cassandra to get the idea she'd be a bridesmaid any decade soon, said "No." Nina's wished she'd said "Yes,' and dealt with Cassandra bringing her wedding planning magazines since about two weeks after that party, when she found out Don asked Cassandra out. She kept thinking Cassandra would realize that Don is no more serious than Nina is, or that Don would get bored with Cassandra, and kind of got distracted by Michael's death and consoling Dina, but now Cassandra's sporting that huge rock and has a date set and Nina doesn't know how to tell her "This is a very stupid plan and it is going to fail and I am one of several women he's sleeping with besides you," because how does she explain that she didn't say that, well, sooner?

• The reason the Caliente siblings behave the way they do dates back to high school. The girls were continuously tormented throughout high school. Dina's prom date left her without a ride home, while Nina struck up a friendship with another wall-flower named Don. After college, they each pursued a modelling career. With no luck, they settled back into Pleasantview, sleeping around due to their low self-esteem.

• Jennifer Burb played soccer throughout her schooling, earning a scholarship for college with it. Unfortunately, she ended up pregnant with Lucy weeks before graduation, so she was forced to stay home and marry John. She doesn't resent Lucy at all, and hopes that she will find something she enjoys doing. She has high hopes for Lucy's future, and doesn't plan on any other children. John agrees, too.

• Despite being married to Jenny for years, PT doesn't think Jill is his. Alien skin is dominant, and it just doesn't add up. He doesn't want to think his wife was unfaithful, because she claimed to understand the terms for his career. He loves his family either way, and will always treat Jill the same. Even if she is dating that weird Ottomas boy. Something just seems fishy about that family, but what is it that's so strange?

• At the time of his death, Skip Broke was supposed to be in a rehabilitation facility. He escaped in the middle of the night, partying around Downtown. He overdosed and ended up in the hospital, being placed under suicide watch. Brandi reluctantly allowed him to return home, before he intentionally landed the pool, committing suicide. The note he left addressed his regrets for not being able to provide for the kids.

(Dug up some more, hope you like them.)

• Mary-Sue has held onto divorce papers for years. She's thought about it a lot lately. Not because of Daniel's infidelity, but because he treats her and the kids terribly. Lillith got a black eye last week from a drunken rage Daniel had. She just wishes she could get the courage. He means well when sober, but he's a real you-know-what while drunk. Herb and Coral have always offered her a place to stay, just in case.

• Regan Capp has wanted a divorce for awhile herself. Cornwall is just far too inappropriate and cannot control his anger. Kent is indifferent about it, because deep down he just wants to be Cornwall's friend. Somewhere in his mind, Cornwall wants the same. Regan buries herself in writing novels to keep from saying anything to Cornwall, and Kent works all the time. He doesn't mind helping his sister out at all.

• Goneril Capp has a large family because she feels like she was ignored as a child. She had two stillbirths and a slew of miscarriages, but it doesn't seem to phase her. She just wants more and more, and will stop at nothing to get it. Albany has been contemplating undergoing a vasectomy. He undergoes treatment for depression, due to feeling like he is mistreated by Goneril. She treats him as a factory. Why?

• Dora Ottomas went to high school with Olive Specter. She was shocked to hear about her inside job with Grimmy. Olive seemed like such a nice girl, so sweet and well put-together. Sad how people can change in the blink of an eye. She also wishes her son would shave that ridiculous mustache and get a better job. She gets tired of loaning money to him and the kids. She'd rather be Downtown gambling it.

• Dirk Dreamer only dates Lillith because she is a bad influence and it makes him feel adventurous. He feels like he gets the attention he missed out on by losing his mother at such a young age. He is also autistic, having trouble with certain subjects. He is very talented as well. He loves working on computers, and builds them to sell. He might start a business in Bluewater for computer re-sales and repairs.

• Cyd Roseland named his dog after a friend he had in elementary school. His friend, Porthos Gilscarbo, died in a car crash at 12 years old. This led Cyd into a depression through junior high, leading him to contemplate suicide. His parents bought him the dog out of fear for his life. He named the puppy Porthos, hoping the pup would be his best friend, and one he wouldn't lose so soon this time. He still wishes his friend were here.

• Goopy Gilscarbo had a wife and son. He and his son were coming from watching a baseball game when they were hit by a drunk driver. His son, Porthos, died on impact. Goopy was in a coma for months. He had to re-learn how to do everything, causing his wife to leave him due to stress. His real named had been Gary, but he couldn't seem to figure it out. He calls himself Goopy so he doesn't confuse himself.

( I love digging dirt up on my simmies. Hehe. )

• Jessica Peterson really regrets leaving Armand. Waylon just doesn't make her as happy as she once was. She wants Armand to forgive her and take her back one day. It's doubtful, but she can wish, right?

• Alexander Goth secretly thinks he is gay. Without his biological mother around, he had Dina. She dressed him up and took such good care of him. But he never liked a girl in "that" way before. They're yucky.

• Lyla Grunt really left Buzz because he was abusive. He tried to throw her down the stairs while she was pregnant with Buck, because he didn't think he was his son. Lyla had never cheated. She loved Buzz.

• Mrs. Crumplebottom isn't as mean as everyone thinks, she's just sad. She lost Erik so soon, and she doesn't know how to communicate with others after being alone so long. She just wants friends.

Some more true secrets:
Brandi Broke has had it with men, and their cheating ways; she decided that she's gay. Skip was the only man (and the last) she ever trusted. She has utter contempt for those so-called other 'men' in the neighborhood.

Mary Sue checked the mail one day, to find a love letter to her husband from the local delivery woman. She's known about his flings on the side for a long time, but she's not going to let him know that she has evidence that could get him thrown out of the house. She prefers to keep him in her thrall. He wouldn't be able to function without her, and they both know it.

Dina has one great secret that nobody has ever discovered: when she married Michael Bachelor, she found out on their wedding night that he was gay. She was stunned to know what she'd hoped for was an illusion fueled by teenage daydreams. The reality was worse. That's why they never had children, and why Dina had such fixation on having a baby once he died, and Mortimer was available.

She also has 'daddy issues' with men, which is why she's married far older men with money. She's not a gold digger, but while she and Nina were growing up, they experienced first-hand the terrible life and humiliation that poverty brings. She swore she'd never be poor again if she could help it when she became a teen.

Kristen Loste and Erin Beaker went to the same all-girl school as Chloe and Lola, which is how they all wound up as housemates when they all moved to Strangetown. Erin liked the school because its discipline was so relaxed compared to home. Kristen's not from Strangetown; her parents vanished somewhere around here and she was afraid for awhile they'd be found in Olive's graveyard.

Peter Ottomas's father was a married man; just not married to Dora. Dora was a wild one in her youth, but getting pregnant forced her to get her act together.

John Smith Tricou was the leader of a polygamist cult. Think about it. It explains everything!

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

Watching her parents relationship growing up, Mary-Sue always told herself she would never let a man take advantage of her the way her father did her mother. Still, she's known about Kaylynn since day 1 and hasn't been able to bring herself to throw Daniel out. She understands her mother a little bit better and it infuriates her.

Dustin Broke spends most of his free time on an MMORPG. His main character is a sexy female elf rouge, and he doesn't correct anybody when they assume he, too, is a girl. He's even flirted with a couple of the guys in his guild. It's not that he's gay or that he wants to be a girl, it's just that it usually ends up getting him free stuff.

Dina and Don's first and only kiss was on a night of some fancy-schmancy black tie affair. Michael had dragged her along and she was having a blast until some rich, snooty lawyer woman made an off-hand comment about Dina's lack of career. She got drunk and sat in a corner glaring at everyone until calling her sister for a ride home. Nina wasn't available, but Don was.

Brandi got pregnant in her senior year of high school. She planned to give the baby up for adoption so that she could go to college, and spent months poring over the prospective parents until she found the perfect couple... but as soon as the doctors laid the baby in her arms, she knew she could never give him away. The couple begged, pleaded, and even threatened to sue her, but she was undaunted. She named him Dustin, after the man who was almost his adoptive father. It was the least she could do.
