Love this. Why oh why did EA make these objects the way they did? Thank goodness for people like you. :)

Fantastic Plastic'! Thank you! There are also a few beds that seem to be a bit far from the behind wall.

You might call this one "Flush Mount" as that is what you have done. Great work!

Good idea about the beds! However, they have slots/containers -- I already gave up (for now) trying to move the “Simple Symmetry” bookshelf with this method since the slots on it didn't move along, resulting in deco objects hanging over the edge .. I guess that would probably also happen with beds. But when I try that again I will look at the beds too. In the meantime, you can also test whether it would work by opening the _RIG resource in s4pe and fiddling with that.

"Of course one could also turn on moveobjects and move them by hand, but I don’t feel like doing that every time I put down a shoe rack."

You said it! Thanks for this valuable edit!

Thanks! This is so useful. Any chance you can make the fences reach the edge of lots as they did in previous versions of the Sims? The current method wastes so much space, especially when you have a smaller lot where you want a fence around a garden, pool, or play area.

I use alot of your mods, another great one. For a title, how about "Wallhugger"?
