This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Motive Number Out Of Range Error
Whenever I have pets on my lot, the error "Motive Number Out of Range Or Not An Acceptable Value" appears even when the cat or dog is not doing anything. This started happening about a month ago and I'm not sure what causes it. When I turn off boolprop, the error doesn't appear but the pets get glitched and won't move at all. I check the error logs but don't know how to fix it

You have a mod that is either conflicting with another mod or a mod not for your game setup.

Try the HCDU program and see if it will help find your problem or do the 50/50 method and finding the bad mod.

What's the 50/50 method?

Its were you take out 50% of your mods and test out the game in a test hood only. You keep on taking out 50% each time until you can find out which one is the problem.

1. take out 50% of your mods and then test if no problem then remove those and put back the other 50% and you just keep on going back and forth until you find your problem.

Since it is pet related then I would start with all mods for pets.

Remember all this testing should be done in a test hood only until you find the problem.

I'll have to try that, removing the InTeenimator didn't fix the issue.

Hello, fellow simmers, I seem to have the same problem and decided I'd rather post here than start a new thread.
I have already tried removing all CC from my game (deleted the Downloads folder), but that didn't solve the problem - I keep getthing the same error message. Interesting thing though is that I get it only when I try to make my pets interract with th sims living on the lot and when I try interracting with NPC or other sims on community lots, everything is fine and there's no error message.

Sounds like a different error. Can you post the error log?
