Ooh, this looks interesting, can't wait to try it, Thank you for making this
I've never attempted to use or make a toy store with Midnight Hollow Stuff, although I do have the whole world and set installed
Do I install this mod (I've downloaded the single package) into the normal mods folder or Overrides?

I have it installed normally (within a standard subfolder of mods/packages), but it might have to be put in an overrides folder if you installed the store content using packages. I install store content with launcher.

the mod is amazing. I have a question: Midnight Hollow toys remain functional on surfaces?

Yes in a way. The sim will walk over to the toy and then the toy will teleport to a free space on the floor where they will play with it. The Kite will be put in the sim's inventory and then used outside. As for the baby mat the baby can be placed in it when it is on a surface the parent will float above ground when placing it in the mat but then just direct the sim away with a "go here" or tell it to do something else and it will go back down to the floor and the baby will stay in the mat.

Thank you so much for this, it always irked me that the toys could not be put on the shelf and great to find them all placed where they should have been (with the rest of the children items) :D PS It works great in game (I forgot to thank you before (Blush)) ;)

Thank you for this! Now I don't have to keep using buydebug to get the mummy bear.

This is awesome! Thank you for sharing! Do you think that what you did could be applied to other items to like the milk from cow set so that it can be placed on a shelf to be sold? Because I've been trying to figure out how to do that for a while now and I'm thinking you may have cracked the code

Sure I can try to make that. Send me a PM with any other items you'd like added to it. Small objects work best (1/4 x 1/4 footprint). 1x1 tile objects will work too but they wont be able to be placed on all surfaces.

If anyone else would like to make a request of something to be added to this request send it in a PM.

What a great mod! This should have come standard with the game. SHAME ON YOU, E.A.

I hated placing teddies on the floor. Now my childish adult sims can have a cute teddy on their nightstand. And everything looks so great on the shelves. THANK YOU!

Would it still require Midnight Hollow if all you want to do with it would be to put all those teddy bears from the claw machine onto a shelf rather than cluttering up the floor space with them? 37 bears take up a lot of room.

The way the packages are currently set up you could download the zip with them separated and then only install the ones that are marked as needing an expansion pack and skip the base mod (the one marked "BG") then all but the basegame teddybear would be able to be placed on shelves. I can make a package with just the basegame teddy if you need the basegame teddy to be placed on the shelves too.
