Are these also for male Sims? Because I get stretch marks too. Despite being a man. And therefore not pregnant. And I'm not fat either, or overweight at all.

I haven't figured out why I would need this, but I'm sure to figure it out while playing.

This is pretty cool, it isn't something I would use in my game, but I do appreciate what it is. Thank you for your hard work.

My teenage son actually pointed that out. He said some of these marks would work okay but he's bugging me to work on an all male set later so that could happen

Hello! I would like to thank you so much for including these as a mod. As someone who developed stretch marks at around 14-15 years old due to puberty and a developing sleep disorder (Narcolepsy with cataplexy) that I wouldn't discover until I was 21-22, my body didn't have the required building blocks to prevent them from forming, even though I was an active dancer (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop) and fitness award-winning student. I'm letting everyone know this not to brag about my past, but to inform people that stretch marks are NOT just caused by pregnancy, weight-gain, or being overweight.

Over the years I learned a lot about stretch marks, due to the fact that my situation was such a unique case (I'm not even exaggerating. I had photos taken of areas affected, especially my legs, that were then submitted for research, as whomever I saw [Multiple people] had never seen someone as young as me with stretch marks that bad).
They're actually a lot more common than most people think. All genders can actually get them once they hit puberty, like what happened with me. It's all about how elastic your skin is. If you don't have the right vitamins present in your body (Such as Vitamin E) your skin won't be able to cope with the changes in your body, thus causing stretch marks. Many specialists (Doctors/Nutritionist/Fitness) I spoke to have said that men get them on their arms a lot, due to working out at the gym (Too much, usually). You can be incredibly ripped and have stretch marks all over your body.

I don't often comment in forums anywhere online, but I do have a few suggestion/question hybrid... thingies, if you don't mind.

Is there a way you can make this a tattoo where you can pick to have stretch marks in various places, as well as change their color? (Multiple tattoo slots used. I know that this can affect other mods, but I've also seen people place their mods in Makeup > Facepaint and in Face Details)

I have stretch marks on the backs of my arms, my breasts, my stomach/lower abdomen, my thighs (All down the back and sides. The joints to my hips are the worst of them all, but that makes sense as that's where there's some of the most movement in a person's skin), my buttocks, the back of my calves (only around my knee and slightly below), and my pelvis.
I received treatment for these long ago to where they are turned what is referred to as "Silver" (Very faint almost-skin-like color, though is still noticeable, especially when the skin is stretched. It is also FAR more noticeable on those with darker skin pigments than me, as I'm... almost translucent. *Ahem* I don't get outside much. Haha.) My nutritionists refer to very bad stretch marks as "Purple" (Though they are essentially dark red. Very dark red. Very very dark red. VEERRRRYY very dark-- you get the idea.).

My suggestions of colors are:
  • "Purple" (When they're really REALLY bad and worse than most stretch marks, and are also new).
  • Red (The typical color of most stretch marks when new)
  • Pink (Stretch marks that are either not as bad, or are healing)
  • "Silver" (Stretch marks that are the most healed, and further treatment would diminish them entirely).
  • Plus any other in-between colors. These are just the colors I'm most familiar when speaking to others that also have stretch marks.
I'd try to find some pictures to give you better examples (More filtered/specific to what I'm talking to instead of the insanity one can find with a google search), but that's only if you wanted me to. PlusI'munsureaboutwhat'sallowedinforumshereornot. I kind of wrote all of this without intending to get as detailed as I did. Whoops! This is actually my first post on here as well.

Another reason why I couldn't help but ask about colors and more options is because I have Sims based off of myself and my boyfriend. He and I both have stretch marks, his being on his arms (The entirety of both of his upper arms up to past his joint connecting to his shoulders) with the "silver" color I mentioned. He grinned when he saw I was able to use one of your options to put stretch marks on my stomach (The one that is the most healed/small/faint). He has a much darker skin pigment than me, so the red colors really stood out compared to when they were on my sim.

Once again, I really appreciate this mod. Thank you! I never would've thought someone would make something like this, but this is something that happens with many people in their lives, and it's great to see that I can make my Sim look just a bit more like me. Thank you so much! I apologize if I rambled anywhere (more like everywhere) and I thank you in advance to any questions you answer.
