1. Use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer to install lots and sims into your game. You will be able to choose what you want to include or leave out. This is helpful if a lot includes mods or CC that you do not want in your game.

14 - I know that many images are edited with photoshop, but is there a way to create realistic characters on the game? With shapes and not that they're all structured the same? For example, these photos:

14. Although some hair and tattoos are just painted on the skintones, there also are overlays to allow hair and tattoos. I don't use overlays but perhaps someone else can provide links for those.

There are many different body shapes available. I have a large number, both male and female, in my game. But each bodyshape requires it's own meshes, both nude meshes and clothing meshes. If you want the shape to be able to be passed on to future generations, then you also have to have a separate skintone for it. Using different bodyshapes WILL require you to download more custom content. And since the game wasn't designed for them, there can be clipping issues when those bodyshapes interact with other Sims.

Just download this (has only 3 exact cheat codes mentioned there) and plop it to your config folder in documents > sims 2 folder. (If you're playing UC, then UC folder obviously)

You will want some more cheats in there than just those.

Some cheats are set to always on. Along with the number of sims I have angled furniture always on, Hood deco on and other things on.

Then below that are shortened cheats. So instead of typing some long cheat out and having to remember it you can have them with short alias'.
So for example instead of typing 'setQuarterTilePlacement on' to get the quarter tile cheat you have it set to something short like 'tileon'

There are plenty of cheat files pasted to MTS but if you can't find any we all have our own version that we can paste in for you.

Different codes do different things. Some codes will run automatically when you start your game. Aliases will allow you to use shorter commands in the cheat bar.

Here is an example of an alias from my game. With this, if I want to turn off the floor grid in Build and Buy mode, I only need to remember to type gridoff instead of that long boolprop command.

These are some codes which run automatically when the game starts. Many players of Sims 2 use these particular codes. The first line turns on the cheat that allows you to control cats and dogs (and vacation guests and apartment room-mates).
The second line allows you to cancel an action from a pet's queue.
The third line affects the Buy Mode object catalog. The game will now show which expansion pack or stuff pack each Maxis object came from.
