Default Cannot Create Reward Trait with Mod Constructor v4
My custom trait appeared in-game as a personality trait, not a reward trait. I made a reward trait and added a personality trait as a component, so this could be the issue, but how else could I create a reward trait with buffs? Thank you in advance.

I am not sure you can create a reward trait in S4S. You may have to do so in Sims 4 Studio.

Hi there. When you create a trait in mod constructor it comes with "Personality Trait" already enabled like this.

This is what makes it appear in CAS, you need to delete this (by clicking on the arrow in the corner and selecting "delete component")

Now you need to make it a reward trait. To do this select "Add Component":

Now you want to pick "Trait Types > Gameplay Trait" then hit "Create Component".

Your trait should now be a reward trait. It won't appear in the reward store yet, however, for that you'll need to do some more fiddling. However, you can now add the trait to your sim using cheats.

Hope this helps.
