This user has the following games installed:
Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Having 2 or 3 of the same neighborhood
I want to copy Pleasantville 2 or 3 times either same lots and sims in it.I'm creating a story. Pleasantville number 2, will be the same sims but 10 years later, and number 3, 20 years later.
I want age the create more kids and grandkids..... While still keeping the first neighborhood so I can play all three neighborhoods ( not at same time).

The easiest way is to copy the "The Sims 2 (UC...)" folder in your Documents folder at the stage where you've got all the sims you want, one or two times, and then you'll have an exact copy of your current game.
Make sure to keep the full text of the folder. They'll be named " - copy" and " - copy2" at the end, but you can change this to something else, just make sure you keep one folder without anything extra, and however many copies you need with the extra bit at the end. If you have several, it's probably an idea to keep a picture or notepad document or something very simple like that in each folder with info about each one, just so you don't get them mixed up.
Rename the folder you want to play so it has the simple "The Sims 2 (UC...)" text.
Also keep in mind this will copy your Downloads folder, and depending on how full that one is, this may take up a lot of space on your harddrive, so probably not a good idea if you're running out of space. If that's not a concern, go ahead. It's also a neat idea if you want to play themed games or use different downloads for each hood, because you can have different Downloads folders.

I create new directories to copy the folder contents into and use 7zip for making backup copies though that same method can be used for making extra folders for themed games though the folders in that case are simply placed in a special directory and switched out as needed and I even have multiple user accounts so I can siwtct users and play on my other account.I also add shopping districts and downtowns to my towns as it starts filling up in the game when the main district is full.
