Very nice house with a good looking exterior and even some landscaping; not to mention almost all the necessary skill objects! I also am always on the lookout for well done starter houses and appreciate that you're sharing this one. Thanks a lot

I really like the direction you are going in. Too many posts are these huge mansions that are horribly expensive, loaded with all sorts of expensive toys, on huge lots, and take roller skates to get around in.

I'll take the well-designed, modest, *playable* house any day!

Looking forward to your next one!

You did a really good job with this house. It's very spacious and the floor plan is interesting (not just a plain rectangle). It's all ready for Nightlife with garage and everything! Plus it's furnished! The question is, How did you keep it under 20K!!!

First, thx you so much for sharing your cheap 3 houses. You made my things easier. I hate building!!!!!:D:D:D.
Secong, thx you so much because you are only one of the few persons who thinks in ppl who starts the game with only 20k. I dont like to use the motherlode or kaching cheat. When I get the money , i'll download an expensive house.
Anyway, thx for your excellent ideas posted here in MTS2

I'm having a problem with your Budget Lane houses. When I tried setting them up in the game, the price came up to over one million simoleons! Every single one of them. I don't have the EP, just the regular game, on Windows XP.

I think you have to click into the lot without a family save the lot and then go back to the neighborhood and the price should reset

You make the BEST starter homes. I hope you expand into the "trade-up" realm. Fabulous work!
