Large Address Aware TS3 Install Reference
Did a reinstall of my Sims3 applications as a general cleaning of my computer. After installation I checked each Sims3 program for LAA. As of January 20th, 2013 the following Sims 3 applications are, or are not Large Address Aware:

The Sims 3 base game: (TS3W.exe) True - Large Address Aware by default
Ambitions (TS2EP02.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Generations (TS3EP04.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Late Night (TS3EP03.exe) - True - Large Address Aware by default
Outdoor Living Stuff (TS3EP06.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Seasons (TS3EP08.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Showtime (TS3EP06.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Supernatural (TS3EP07.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
World Adventures (TS3EP01.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default

Diesel (TS3SP07.exe) False- - Not large address aware by default
Fast Lane Stuff (TS3SP02.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
High-End Loft Stuff (TS3SP01.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Master Suite Stuff (TS3SP05.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default
Pets (TS3SP03.exe) - True - Large Address Aware by default
Town Life Stuff (TS3SP04.exe) - False - Not large address aware by default

Create a World Tool (CAW.exe) - True - Large Address Aware by default
WorldBuilderCS.exe (SuperCAW) - True - Large Address Aware by default

For those having crashes, at least here's a reference for which applications may be limiting memory use.

So, just to be clear; does that mean that we only have to enable LAA for the EP and SP that show as false? Or should it still be enabled for everything? I think I remember seeing that we're supposed to enable all stuff and EPs for LAA, but I don't want to mess up... Or does it matter?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question; I've never really "gotten into" the LAA thing until now. I tried it once before a year or two ago, but it didn't seem to help (I might have done something wrong). I didn't have crashing as often then as I do now, so I set it aside. Now my game is crashing much more frequently than it used to, and it's becoming a real pain in the neck. It just crashed again out of CAS, and the xcpt.txt says it only has 77 mb free virtual memory. I have 4 GB of RAM, but I'm still desperately clinging to Windows XP, so LAA (or lack thereof) may very well be the problem...

I always redo the 4gb patch/force LAA on all the exe files after every patch and new pack install as it reverses it every time. Whatever EA claims it did to fix the memory issue with patches , it certainly hasn't done it for me (I have 8gb ram)

I am having this issue it seems to. When i check my crash log my virtual memory is extremely low. I have been trying for the past week to fix this issue. But i got my game and expansions through steam and the placement of the files a little different then i am seeing in forums. I tried the DEP thing and even tried adding the EP in it as well but it was only saying EP# launcher so im figured that would not do anything. I am getting very frustrated cause i spent over $100 to get these and i know my computer is more than capable to run this game. I have the 4gb patch(is that and the force LAA the same thing?) so i'm gonna try adding the EP in that as well. Should i do that every time i play?
