CAS Shiny Texture Glitch
Hi,

I've been having this problem since the March and April patch updates. In fact, I had to go through my CC folder the hard way and remove multiple files because after the March patch, my game wouldn't load. After doing that, I thought I finally had it working, but when I loaded up CAS and started changing my sim's makeup and clothes, clicking on certain objects would make my sims shiny (I attached a image of an example of it). Its pretty finicky... some items create the glitch some of the time, sometimes those same items don't, and sometimes clicking another object will remove the shine. However, as I continue to edit my sim, the shine inevitably returns.

Here are my system specs:

Early 2009 24-inch iMac
OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.2
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (3.06 GHz)
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 256 MB Graphics Card

I have the Sims 4 and Get to Work installed, and I'm updated to the latest patch.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I searched google for a while for a solution with no luck. I've just gotten Get to Work and I'd really like to play my game!
Thanks in advance for the help.

Remove your WHOLE mods folder and place it on your desktop. It could be some CC or a mod that needs updating.
Once the folder is removed run the game and see if the shine is in cas. (You wont have any cc but just check with EA stuff). If you don't get the shine and everything works as it should you know it is a mod or cc that is the problem
There will be no easy way of knowing which one so you will have to do what we all did, add a few back then test game and continue until you find the problem.
Check that your graphics drivers are all up to date, go into game settings and check that laptop mode is not selected and you could even lower the settings inside the game to see if that helps.

After those updates a lot of mods and cc needed to be updated so they would again work with the March 26th patch. Even though it is time consuming you need to check for mod updates.
