Someone could update Zerbu's Turbo Careers and Go to School Mod?
 

One of the most useful mods for me and surely many others are the ones from Zerbu: Turbo careers and Go to School

These mods make careers and the school active, like events. Where you can have custom lots where sims work actively.

Unfortunately the Turbo Careers Mod didn't get an update since one year and the go to school mod won't be updated in the future as Zerbu states here:

So I wanted to ask if someone is capable in updating these mods?

I'm pretty sure the newest version of Go to School is working and is active (yes, even with the Toddler patch). The link that you posted is where you can download the current working version. Turbo Careers is a work in progress, as Zerbu has stated recently that he's planning to add more and make changes to them.

Anyway, it's not really...appropriate...to update someone else's mod while they're still active in the community, as Zerbu is. We'll just have to be patient and wait for him to update his own mod(s)

Zerbu keeps his own mods updated and they are working just fine. If you are having issues, you need to ask for help on his site. I use both mods and there are no problems. His update school mod is beyond awesome. To get an idea look for his video on YouTube.

Are you using the turbo careers with the latest toddler patch without problems? Because this mod was updated the last time a year ago.

As for the go to school mod, Zerbu has updated it for the toddler patch now. But as he states here: http://zerbu.tumblr.com/post/155216191972/so-uhh he has lost all his files and won't update it in the future because of this. For the toddler patch he had to only update the podium without needing his files he lost.

Anyway, I didn't want to be rude or anything. Maybe there will be an update for turbo careers. Where did he state that he will update it?

I think Turbo Careers has been outdated for some time, I haven't used it in over a year. Zerbu has talked about updating it in the future, specifically mentioned in this post, and if you just scroll down his Tumblr, he mentions it a few times, asking for ideas for future active careers, etc. Have you played the new version of Go to School? It seems pretty awesome and complete as is, so I'm not sure why you are worried about him updating it in the future...just enjoy it for what it is now :D

Ah I missed this post about turbo careers, thank you for the link! Great he has future plans with it. Yes the school mod is awesome. So my worries are gone now.

Yes I find that both mods still work. The careers mod hasn't been updated with new features, but it continues to work as well as it did in the past. Thanks for the heads up on the podium. I will go and check that out.

For me his mods added the most valuable gameplay to a game that is so restricted in every single way. I heavily used his Turbo careers and go to school mod.

I don't know if anyone is capable of maintaining his mods. If yes, it would be fantastic.

His decision is understandable, but I hope he at least shares the source for his mods and tools.
