Default How do I add a buff when a need reaches a certain level?
Hi! I want to create a mod that adds buffs when a Sim’s need reaches a certain level. Does anyone have any knowledge that they can share? Thank you!

You'd want to look into the buffs that already have this behaviour.
The 'Hungry' buff, for example.
It looks like need-dependent buffs are referenced directly inside the motive itself. Somewhat intrusive to add to without scripting.

I had a quick look with the TDESC Browser, "motive_Hunger" and "Buff_Motives_Hunger_Hungry" are good places to start to see how these two reference each other and interact.

Ok, I'll look. Thanks!
